36 RepliesOk, I have been reading alot about people getting mad because of unfair treatment and that Bungie does not love thier xbox fans anymore. I am sorry but people have to realize that Bungie got screwed my Microsoft and their fans are probably the only reason that Destiny is on xbox at all. The issue I have is people talking about loyalty from a company or having loyalty to a company (as fans). Since Bungie has become Independent they have chosen to change platform and try working with a company that they worked with in the past. People are mad because they have chosen Playstation as their main console of choice and I totally understand their reasoning. What I do not understand are people who claim to be long time Bungie fans that are mad because they changed their main platform of choice. If you were really that loyal you would follow them to which ever platform they prefered but instead you choose to stay loyal to Microsoft (the company they just left) and expect Bungie to stay loyal to you. Well guess what they have stayed more loyal to you then you have to them, they have actually made the game for not one but two of the platforms from their former company (which to me is amazing that they would go that far since their fans are the only reason to make it ). I can not think of a company that has as close a relationship with its fans, that has it's own holiday started by the fans and gives the fans so much information abouts going on in their studio. Does no one stop to think about the situation they are in? They just got their independence again and they do not want to forsake their fans but at the same time they feel no love for thier former overlords. You should be glad your getting the game on xbox at all and it you feel hurt or betrayed that Playstation is getting more love, then I am sorry you choose Microsoft over Bungie and you will just have to learn to live with it.

oh and i want to state that both consoles should get the same treatment like i hate it with certain games they would have extra content on one console but not on the other i say both companies should get the same game i have both the ps3 and the 360 i prefer gun games on the 360 for i like the control scheme better but then i like racing games and such on the ps3 i understand that microsoft screwed you guys over when they created the disaster we know as halo 4 or as people i know call it gaylo you guys make an amazing game just dont cut us out of content i dont care that playstation got the beta and alpha before the xbox oh and i only played the beta for a couple hours and i already reached max lvl in beta and i have beta story complete the beta should have been longer also why am i able to get lvl 10+ itms dropping in a beta that caps at 8?

I was curious if this game was going to expand into the reality that multiple consoles can play on the same servers such as square has done with final fantasy 14 which plays on the ps3, ps4, and the pc or like warthunder which plays on ps4 and pc i would love to play with my cousin who makes more money than i do so he has the xbox one and i still have the 360

5 RepliesHello, Look I don't wanna say that Bungie hates Xbox fans, a big reason we Xbox fans are annoyed is due to the fact that we were very loyal to Bungie with halo and a lot of us, well I don't mind them giving exclusive content to PS4 and such but I'm annoyed that the Xbox isn't getting exclusive content like that at the start like PS4. Maybe if they explain the entire concept of why that is we would understand but from what i have seen and maybe I missed something but they have only explained that they don't hate us and that it's just how it is. I personally would like them to explain the real reason The PlayStation is getting early access to a lot of exclusive stuff a year or so before Xbox does. Without explaining it they sit on thin ice right now with a lot of their Xbox fans. I mean what if they did a lot more stuff for the PlayStation and left Xbox in the dark and all Xbox people just turned in Destiny or didn't buy it. Now I'm not saying the PS users are very low or incapable but they would loose so much money and it would hit Bungie hard. I think Bungie is a great company and I understand their independent right now but it seems rude to us Xbox fans that they aren't giving us ANY exclusive content like personally I could give a care less if they just gave us one exclusive weapon or armor peace, But that's not even the case. I will still play This game because it looks really good but I'm not as excited about it i would say out of a 100% I'm 95% excited about it because of we are in the dark right now. I'm hoping Bungie will see that one little extra content will change a lot on this game.

2 RepliesI've had and played all the halo games. I'm still not a fan of bungee for the simple fact that their main concern should be gamers who spend their hard earned money on their games. I will not be getting destiny because I'm tired of the choices they make that mainly effects the gamers. If they would have opened the beta for all at the same time it would have made them better prepared for the release of the game and not have all of the crappy server problems that they will have at release. But because they are acting like little kids it screws the gamers. I'm a fan of gamers and great games. Not game companies. (Well there is ubisoft who is uber amazing.)

The only reason why we the xbox players are getting this game is because of how much is costing bungie to make this game. They know that not every ps player will buy destiny and so they said, "yea lest make it for xbox as well that way even if ( x% ) of the ps players dont buy the game with the xbox we make up for that %, but if all the xbox players boycott this jokers well then they would have to lisend to us, unless they would love to go broke!

I was informed by gamestop if I pre order the game its a grantee that I will receive a beta code on the 17 now its after 930pm. So whats up Bungie when will I receive a email to get in the action or this is a selected few.

A question to anyone viable: Will Destiny's Beta be downloadable a day before it actually begins? Would help save time for [i]Aperture Science[/i]'ing the [b][732][/b] out of it. The only addendum I have with the Beta is the length of it, for I can assume off-the-bat that you (Bungie, I raise my [i]bronze--gauntlet finger[/i] towards your [b]7th Column[/b]), may not have enough results to be reassured, especially when so much is to be tested. If there be no 'extension' to the Beta, then I assume you'll be ready to update Destiny as soon a fans begin reporting seeing errors (E.G: Garry's Mod, when deploying a dupe which you don't have the model(s) for). In regards of customization, will Guardians be capable of 're-using' previous visual armor that they had (E.G, if you wanted to retain the Level 0/2 Pilot armor look, you could just select the 'armor ascetics' tab*).[spoiler] One more question: Can Guardians reconfigure their face -after- they've been created? This usually annoys those who 'raise' a Guardian, and eventually realize their face doesn't look like how they wanted it, thus forcing them to delete & create another Guardian. Final thing: Will there be 'armor skins' based on the enemies (Fallen armor, cloaks, etc...), since I've seen a Vex one, I'd like to see this sort of 'battle trophy' thing be more wide-spread (including Titans and Warlocks wearing Fallen cloaks, which could be a mere ascetic option once you kill X amount of cloak-wearing Fallen, however this visual thing will NOT affect gameplay, same with the thing mentioned earlier about armor customization (see Halo Reach (your work) and Halo 4's customization for an idea on the thing, also see World of Warcraft's Transmogification(?) for a more exact idea)). *That tab can be integrated and can include weapon visual modifications, and could also add other visual modifications (hud colour, Ghost colour, (will you re-use Halo emblems? If you will, then I'd like it seen on the armor of players for additional individuality), and so on). [/spoiler] One final thing, Bungie. Will you upload the models for custom screenshot/RP/[?]/[comment] actions with other games, most notably Garry's Mod? If you did that, I'd be proud, for even those with PCs would be able to enjoy Destiny, even if they couldn't really play it. I am [b]Koldraxon[/b]. I am the[b] Kal'eon[/b]. I AM the [b]732[/b]th. 1 ReplyI would love to participate in the Destiny Beta, however I still haven't recieve a code yet. I pre-order Destiny a week ago and still haven't recieve any notification about Destiny Beta. I purchase Destiny off the Playstation store where it said it was participating in the Beta. I just need some answers, so if you can help me please do. Thanks!
