Thank you Gamestop employee...

On Bungie Day after the Ghost Collector's Edition was announced I decided I had to have one. I then proceeded to Amazon to buy it only to discover it was sold out for the PS4. I then went to Gamestop online looking for it and found out it was sold out there as well. Everywhere I looked it was sold out. For a while there I was really bummed out, but I refused to give up. I am United States military stationed in Germany. I pre-ordered Destiny back in December at a GameStop in Michigan while I was home for the holidays. So, after reading through many forum posts i learned I could call the Gamestop store and ask to upgrade my current pre-order to the Ghost Edition. When I called them, just as they opened, the Gamestop employee informed me that they did have Ghost Editions for PS4 available still and I would have to come in and give them another $20 in order to secure one. I informed the Gamestop employee that I lived in Germany and told him my situation and your not going to believe what happened next... Just as I was realizing that my dream of owning a Destiny Ghost Collector's Edition was being shattered, the Gamestop employee paid the $20 out of his own pocket and secured my pre-order upgrade. I just wanted to share that with all of you and say thank you to Brian. EDIT: I just want to clarify something.... I am a Marine Corps Vet. My wife is a combat medic in the Army and is the reason we are stationed in Germany. She desrves all of the kudos for actively serving her country. That is why I say " I am military" and not I am in the military. EDIT #2: I had my brother-in-law go down to the store to thank him and give him the $20. He said the account was covered and would not take the $20. What a cool guy. Mark my words, I will find a way to pay him back and show him my gratitude. EDIT: #3 I just received a message from GameStop letting me know me Destiny Ghost Edition will be ready for pickup at 12am. I decided to call the store to thank them again for everything they did and the guy there told that the store was only allotted to sell 2 Ghost Editions and one of them was mine. I am so stoked and grateful for everything Brian and the store has done. What a great customer service experience.
