I've always wanted a pet, and only got the chance to own one dog in my life. My father is deathly allergic to cats, and my mother can't stand dogs, so after the one dog, it wasn't possible to convince my parents to get another pet. But all of that has changed. I live on my own now, have lived on my own for quite a while actually. So I think it's time to get a pet, especially since it will help me embrace my yuppie lifestyle. Should I get a cat, or a dog? I actually have no preference, and could be persuaded either way, I just want to see what people think.
