Vex Hydra Fight Footage
So in the Beta footage, at [url=http://youtu.be/TljtC5qnb-s?t=1m56s]1:56[/url] there is a shot of something guardians are fighting, it happens again at [url=http://youtu.be/TljtC5qnb-s?t=2m5s]2:05[/url].
Upon further analysis and discussion (Thanks Clutchmaster, ghost59, and ghostdiver) it's looking more likely that this is a Vex hydra, a not yet seen aerial vex unit apart from harpies. And as it looks like a machine, and nothing fallen like, I'm assuming it's Vex. The fact that their are 2 players fighting it only also kind've indicates that this probably isnt anything as serious as a Raid.
Edit: Ghost59 brought up a good point. It seems this could very well be a glimpse at a Vex Hydra. It's fricking huge, I'm so stoked.

3 RepliesSorry to burst your bubble, but it has definitely been seen before. Multiple times actually. The Beta trailer is just rehashed footage of the New Beginnings/E3 Gameplay Experience Trailer; which is a month old. They show the Hydra multiples times in each. As you can see in the [url=http://youtu.be/clRpcIHpmoY?t=3m19s]New Beginnings at 3:19,[/url] it's literally the same shot as your second Beta trailer link.

7 RepliesVex Hydra. More powerful than the Minotaur I believe. I'm not sure if it's more powerful than an Ogre like Phogoth though.

It is probably a Vex hydra. We have seen all other forms of the Vex besides the Hydra and if memory serves right, the Hydra were supposed to be the other air unit besides the Harpies. So this is highly likely to be a Hydra. The Vex trailer on the Offical Destiny shows more of it too.
