So there's this girl... (different post)
I share a few classes with her, we're kind of friends, and I don't know how to take it to the next level. We talk in class, never anything serious really, just about our music class or hey have you heard ____'s new album. I want to make this a more-than-just-friends thing, but I don't know how to tell her that. Any advice?

Just keep being nice to her. Then try and ask if she wants to hang out after school. Keep doing that and eventually (probably straight away) she will get the message.
