When they showed the Ascension demo, I just can't help but cringe at this certain. The updated graphics, banshees, and energy shields were nice. Even the skybox was decent, which hints at the skybox capabilities for campaign. We even saw High Charity which was a bonus but I'm getting off track. Don't get me wrong, the map was great and 343i did a terrific job but there's one problem. There was a -blam!-ing misplaced pixel on the Energy Shield hologram. Are you -blam!-ing kidding me 343i? You updated the maps, build an entire new skybox, bring back duel wielding and removed AA, brought back cool weapons and new vehicles, but you didn't stitch the -blam!-ing hologram texture right?? I might just cancel my pre order, I can't play a game if the pixels aren't good enough. No matter the gameplay or aesthetics. I'm sorry 343i but you -blam!-ed up. You almost had it but you -blam!-ed up.
