Titanfalls lack of a single player allowed for a well balanced and fun multiplayer experience. A possible single player campaign in the future could allow players a deeper experience in the game's universe.

Unless the game started out having a SP then it's going to be pointless adding one to it. Look at Battlefield. The games started out as MP only games then once they hit the consoles it started having one. Having a SP for them is just pointless when the MP is what sold the game. People don't buy Battlefield for the SP, they buy it for the MP which is its selling point.
A possible single player campaign in the future could allow players a deeper experience in the game's universe.
They can still do that by putting more focus into the lore with the MP.

Does anyone actually know why the IMC and Milita are actually fighting? I mean they're exploring space I presumed from the intro. Can't they just find a planet far away from each other and live happily ever after?

Can't wait for another Titanfail!

Technically Titanfall did have a campaign. But it was still online it just had a story.

Yes please.

Hopefully the sequel to TitanFall has some sort of dedicated single-player experience, if not it should at least have some sort of co-op experience. TitanFall was a great game, it just lacked any kind of real depth, it was fun for like 30 minutes before it felt repetitive.

Titanfall 2 will be on PS4. Or at least, it likely will. But in answer to your question, I agree with you. It needs an actual campaign. If it doesn't, then I am not getting it.

They actually wanted to have a single player mode, but due to the rocky development cycle it ended up getting cut.
-
Nope. Single player is a waste of time in an MP focused game.
-
One problem with that. Imagine fighting the NPCs now with single player. To be honest it really doesn't need a campaign. Cut it all together and make it $40. I would have been more happy with unlockable cut scenes instead of the "Campaign" we experienced in this title. And I hope they hire someone to write something decent. I don't want to unite humanity against the machines. I like the machines! Seriously, right now it's a trio of Titans, Pilots, and Grunts. Taking out one of those crucial elements in a single player could cause problems.

Does Titanfall not have a campaign?
-
A survival mode against the indigenous creatures would kick ass.
-
6-man team Kaiju mode = insta-win if its in Titanfall 2.
-
It seems like there's a lot of potential for a story.
-
They'd be stupid not to. The lack of a single player in a $60 product created the perception that TitanFall wasn't the full package.
