MCC confusing as -blam!-.

So how does the multiplayer work? Will it be Halo 2's multiplayer on all the Halo maps? Or is each game getting their own multiplayer? Also how are the playlists going to work so the population won't be hurt, like Halo 4's retarded playlists.

Each multiplayer will be as it was before, with upgrades to 1080p and 60fps with dedicated servers. There will be playlists that mix the games, as well as giving the option to play just on one game, like CE.

    • Lord Darkseid: You think halo CE will be the go to competitive multiplayer? I am pretty sure they said Halo CE is going to be the Halo CE anniversary game just uploaded onto Halo MCC. That did not have a competitive following at all. Halo 2 is where it will be at.

      • Each game comes with its original player, and you can choose to only playlists from certain games if you want. So no, you won't have to touch the evil, ever-dreaded Halo 4.

      • Wait so with the playlists with every game in them am I going to have to keep switching my playstyles to match what game? (using button combos for 2, using a pistol for CE, and so on)

        • It will seamlessly bring you into each multiplayer in it's own respective dedicated server. It will be one population.

        • It is actually not confusing at all Each Multiplayer Halo CE, halo 2, halo 3, and Halo 4 will have its own separate ORIGINAL multiplayer THEN there will also be some sort of mixed playlists where you will join a lobby and for example the 8 players would vote either: Slayer on lockout (Halo 2), Slayer on Haven(Halo 4), CTF on Pit(Halo 3), or Assault on Hang Em High (Halo CE) We do not know what the playlist situation will be like yet. You would figure that they cannot have all playlists on all games because like you said that would divide the population way too much. I do hope though since it is H2A that at least Halo 2 will have all of its original playlists

        • While the multiplayer side of the game will allow players to play specific Halos in matchmaking, the main matchmaking aspect of the game combines all of them. IE: Lets say you choose to play some CTF. When you get matched up with players and put into a lobby, you vote for what multiplayer engine you want to play CTF on.
