What is a good reason to join a clan?
Discuss.
Personally, I like knowing that old friends will be there to play with me when life allows for sone trigger time.

2 RepliesBeing a member of a clan has provided me with Some great lasting friendships that I would have otherwise never experienced. We have shared game time, War Stories, and developed new strategies for attacking games or game types. With children, time has become a major gaming constraint for me. However, sharing a forum or even a Common place to interact with my clan mates has allowed me to set time to game together so that I know I will have an enjoyable experience every time.

Always been a solo player to be honest, but the Vault of Glass calls to me. I hope it'll just be a chill thing, people coming together cause they love a game, a place to hangout in a foreign world with some mates. Edit*: I actually started Warframe to hold me over till release, joined a Clan in that and it's been cool like mentioned above. If you are annoyed by the traditional "clan" with a 14 year old leader ordering you to show up for practice and jump through hoops, you may enjoy joining MY clan. We are more so a TEAM than a "clan". We are very competitive and most of us are MLG vets from other games. We communicate, we win. It's all very simple really. We all have lives and individual personality. Right now, the only reason why I joined a clan is because the game is currently anti-social. No proximity chat, and no matchmaking for raids kinda forced me to do that sort of thing. Anyways, no matter which method of finding others to play with, I tend to make a friend or two along the way.

I've Never Ever Played Online with someone else EVER. I lucked into the Alpha cause my Wife has Amazon Prime and thats where I got my PS4. While playing the Alpha I was running around and I Ran into Someone else playing. I stopped and thought that's awesome. Complete strangers running around with a single purpose destroying everything in our path. Dancing and pointing at everything and then eventually he was gone. Then I was quickly playing with someone else. Rinse and Repeat. Well long story short it triggered this need to hook up with other Destiny players before the Beta came out. I won't Bore you with the details of how obsessed I am With this wonderful game. I joined a Clan and quickly struck up a friendship with two clan mates. By the end of the Beta we had become really good friends. Then the idea of starting our own clan came up. So we did, created one and left the clan we were in, felt bad about it sorry plasma. But it had Become a new Project almost like Art is created, molded and shaped into something. Then we watched it grow, slowly at first but it grew. So the reason why I joined a clan, its got to be the Bonds you form with other people. It is rooted in the game but becomes deeper than that. Thank you for the Platform. 4 Replies[ps3/ps4 clan] Sonz of Hades. We are a clan of adults only. If you are mature and don't have a squeeky voice and can pass of as an adult we won't discriminate. We basically just don't want any squeeky whiny little kids. Other than that, we are semi serious gamers, not super hardcore because we all work or go to school. But, we play daily and get down with it. NO RACISM, adults only, and mics only. Ohter than that, no rigid dorky rules, just have fun and bring your A game. Only way you would get kicked from the clan is if you were just absolutely horrible and don't seem to be making any progress.
