Increase the size of FireTeams.. Please!! :)
Hi guys,
This has most certainly been discussed before now but does anyone else feel that the size of the fireteams should be increased from 3!? Because I have more than 2 friends that I'll be wanting to play with on the beta and also at release but wont be able to if it stays the way it was in the Alpha.
Me and a couple of friends were discussing this and we said that it would be great if the enemy difficulty changed depending on how many people were playing in a fireteam (more people playing = harder enemies) so then it would still make it a challenge and I/We could still play with all our friends we wanted to... even if it was just up'd to 6 in a team would be great! :)
I think thats the only problem I had with the Alpha other than that it was amazing and can't wait for the Beta and the 9th September!!! :)

3 RepliesI would like 6 player fire teams for at least free roam. They can keep 3 person fire teams for Campaign and Strikes. I think it should be an option. I would love to play with 5 of my friends instead of just 2.

Eh, I'm fine with 3.. it felt perfect during strikes, any more would be OP . In terms of increasing difficulty based on number in team.. I don't know. We already have difficulty settings for strikes that we set manually...

I think the size of fireteams should be increased to at least 4. It's nice that we can have more people on our team for raids and the crucible, but for strikes, free roam and campaign 3 is just too little.

I think it would be neat if they allowed 3 fire teams to run together In a squad.

Yea it would be cool if like when you're out in free roam, people on your friends list or people in your in game clan would be on the same server as you, meaning like they would be the other Gaurdians out there with you.

The max fire team size is 6. You can't do strikes or free roam with 6 but there are games that feature 6 (such as raids and the crucible). Plus there is nothing stopping you from chatting in a party while you are split amongst 2 fire teams. Whenever I joined my buddies' parties in the Alpha that's what we did and it worked out fine. I would be chatting with 4 people with only one on my team. Then we would move to the crucible when everyone was finished with organizing their loot.
