As an advanced alien species I feel that it is necessary to tell the Inferior how we "precursors" created the ghosts. These little floating orbs of knowledge were meant to guide Guardians through tough times, not meant to satisfy their funny bones or give them chills from amazing voice work. These companions were meant to facilitate the Journey of the few that would wander through the wild wasteland. From what we advanced beings have heard, there is a show called Game of Thrones that uses one of our Ghost's voice as a full blown character. It is too bad that this has caused much dislike for the voices we have programmed within our guidance technology. With the creation of the Ghosts we were aiming for efficiency, not emotional companionship.
