Supers in Destiny are just a copy of biotic powers in Mass Effect. (Fist of Havoc= Nova, Nova bomb= Biotic explosion etc.) So why did Bungie copy the best video game franchise in existence? Bioware should sue them.
Edit: I just remembered that the Hive Drones are exactly like the Husks from ME.
Edit 2: To all you retards that think I'm trolling I have evidence to back up my claim.

The amount of autism in this thread is overwhelming.

There are copies of everything everywhere why did Skyrim copy LOTR? why did Harry Potter copy LOTR? Why did LOTR copy folklore and Wagner's Ring of Nibelung? why did everything copy everything else? Not much in entertainment exists without copying something else unfortunately. So it's just about who does it best?
-
Troll look at the hashtags :P
-
Why are you copying everyone else's threads that say that Destiny is copying every other game in existence?
-
Because its a good game. This quote from a classical composer explains why. "Good composers borrow. Great composers steal." What I'm saying is that no great thing is completely original. Nearly all of our iconic works of art have been influenced by other things and have direct references to them. For the composers back then, it was not an offense for another composer to use direct sections from your own works. Jealousy happened, but most of the time, they were flattered that their work was recognized by their fellow composers. Bungie taking the idea of Mass Effect is a compliment, really.
-
Awww… this had so much potential.
-
Dude originality is done! Why did the Lion King copy Hamlet?
-
It's 2014. Originality Left the deck years ago.
-
the hive also look like the XenoMorphs from the Alien series! I saw one shotgun that looked like the one in Doom 3! I also saw a plant that looked like the one in Red Dead Redemption! (sorry had to do that one :P) thing is, people will accidentally "copy" something, whether it be just an idea, or final concept. my dad worked in a small magazine company and all the add idea's he made where already thought up and he didn't even know about them. so, accidents happen. if there was a shrug emoticon I would make it! XD

Llama give me power!!
-
I wouldn't say copy dude cuz its more like... similar. example- Gears of War has the lambent which kinda looks like the Flood from Halo you know? sci-fi games do alot of stuff like this, not really a problem anyway :)
-
Well good thing I haven't played Mass Effect. Lol
-
Actually looking back on this, Mass Effect copied Knights of The Old Republic. So THAT explains where the Warlocks melee comes from.
-
I used to be a troll like you but then I took a sparrow to the knee
-
Do you think mass effect was the first to use powers? The first to have different classes play differently? To have a story where you choices changed how the world reacted to you? Maybe they were the first to let you choose to play as different races? The is no to all those questions fool. Just because a game a similar mechanics doesn't mean it ripped it off from another game. Get over yourself.
-
You're right and destiny is also copying the little mermaid because there's water in little mermaid and there's water in destiny!!!
