What is more desirable?
I'd rather 1080p @ 30 FPS any day of the week.

Yes I know it's a racing game and not that demanding which is a factor, so with that being said I believe they should tailor the resolution and frame rate to the game. For instance FPS style games should focus on frame rate and less on resolution (tho both would be nice obviously). While if should be standard now I think we will see solid 1080p @ 60fps way before the end of this console generation.

Though I know what answer you are wanting out of your post, you want to know if resolution or frame rate is more important to each person who responds. For me, frame rate will always be more important, because I tend to play games that work better with higher frame rates (multiplayer, online shooters).

8 RepliesAs both a PC and PS3 owner, I'd rather have 60fps over 1080 any day. Games like Ni no Kuni look stunning on my 50" TV and aren't running at 1080. I'd go better fps every time.

1 ReplyI'll go along with the thread and say 1080p and 30fps. 60fps with 1080p SHOULD BE STANDARD IN EVERY GAME NOW. No exceptions. But 1080p any day over 720p. The difference is night and day.
