Bullying was a good thing.

Bullying was a good thing. Up until a couple decades ago. This whole anti bullying campaign has made people weak. Before, bullying made us stronger, it forced us to fight back and assert ourselves to show that we can't be pushed around like that. We have to prove that we are not beneath someone, we are either at their level or above them. We prove to others, as well as ourselves, that we can stand up for ourselves. This subconsciously builds a more confident and independent mindset. Ever since this whole anti violence and 'fighting is bad' thing started, people are unable to retaliate in a way that is natural. By forcefully taking away our right to push someone who deserves pushing, kids have taken to the internet to get their pretend licks in. This has made people cowardly and weak. Because you can't just punch someone who deserves punching, in order to fight back you now have to play the same petty game they are. Most of these depressed children think that cutting themselves will make the bully think "Oh, I've ruined this kid so badly that now he's hurting himself, I should stop, because now my actions are making him take negative actions against himself" This is not what they think you stupid plebs. They know for a fact they aren't doing that and you are making a conscious choice to cut yourself for attention. What emo kids need to do is suck it up and stop being so attention whorish and stop playing the pitty game. No one feels sorry for you. You look like a group of hurt shelter animals that people look at and think "That thing needs to be put down, or someone who has the time and patience can deal with it." Now, here's where this emo kids shit comes in. Because this generation grows up in a way where they cannot fight back and feel that they're being immensely wronged without a way to retaliate, it's just perpetuating a paradigm of pussification. Kids are feeling weak and helpless because their only way to fight back has been stripped from them. We look at fighting as this horrible thing, when it's only human nature. I am not advocating for bullying. I feel that everyone should treat each other with respect. But in situations of bullying, I feel that if someone is being a little shit, you have the right to take a stand and dish out what they took the chance of receiving by being a bitch. Overall technology and anti violence and 'peaceful alternatives' has proven to ruin this latest generation and is being ineffective. The knock-out game is sad. Hitting someone who wants to terrorize you at school for some form of self pleasure deserves a swat upside the head.
Bait set. Come and argue with me flood.
• I don't agree that if a kid throws a punch at you, and you fight back simply because you're defending yourself you should be penalized in school. My school's argument for this is: "You should walk away and go to a teacher." Do you have any idea how hard it is to just walk away when you're getting punched and grappled? You have two choices forced to fight back and get penalized, or just let yourself get the fuck beat out you and not suffer any consequences.

    • Apart from all the trolling, I think it's immensely stupid that schools punish kids for defending themselves. You need to learn at a young age that sometimes violence is the only answer. Otherwise you have a generation of pussies and snitches like we have now that would sooner call the cops than stick up for themselves.

If you're standing up to a bully or defending yourself, the school should not penalize you. Sometimes violence is necessary, and most kids don't understand that. Bullies are insecure and that is why they bully, or they're just assholes. If you stand up to them, they will back down or just stop bullying you.

      • Yeah. I guess you're right. It probably still is good. Except for the part when it drives people to suicide.

        • I 100% agree. If you're so much of a pussy to kill yourself because of "cyber-bullying" instead of just turning off your damn monitor and walking away, then you're pathetic, to be completely and blatantly honest.

              • Glad I read into that a little more, the title makes it sound like you are cool with bullying, this sounds more like you are cool with self defense. Either way, I'm already teaching my little girl to not take shit from anyone. Listen if it's constructive, or not an attack, but if you are getting picked on punch that dbag kid in her his or her face. I will pick you up after detention
We have to prove that we are not beneath someone, we are either at their level or above them.
Lolz were had at how you disproved your logic with your lack of logic by making us "must login to log out" How can we not be beneath someone if we can be above them? Anyyyywhooooo...The problem is that bullying is subjective, and always divided. The bully is never "bullying" and the victim tends to always see it as "bullying". When I was younger, a kid had tormented me for years. Eventually I got tired of turning the other cheek, and I told him he would regret being a jerk. Lets just say, knowing how to maximize a punch and having a lot of muscle as a kid helped out greatly in giving him a reason to stop. Did I not become the bully, though? It is all situational.
