I talked to a few friends that have been out of high school for a few years and they say dating is easier.
Is it true?
-
Harder to meet people. That's about it

Edited by Cobravert: 5/13/2014 3:35:43 PMYes -Less stigma of 'what everyone else' (read: classmates/friends) think. (You like HER?) -Less relying on parental approval -People tend to grow up pretty quick after high school and things become much more real. -Less preconceived ideas about other people or what people may have thought of you No -It's still rough actually asking anyone out the first time or 2, no matter when it is. -No more parental financial backing you may have had funding dating in high school -Everything IS real. Well except for the false faces and expectations.
-
I always thought it was harder meeting people outside of school. We'll see though.
-
Dating in highschool sucks unless both parties are willing to put forth the effort, making it similar to a marriage. And as much as it sucks, it's necessary. You need to learn to pick up confidence early. I only know a handful of people who did nothing during highschool (sexual or otherwise), and are now in a loving relationship in college.

'Dating' was easier in School. I didn't even have to do anything. Some hot, popular girl would just lay claim to me.

Edited by Green Twister: 5/13/2014 3:46:32 PMHarder i belive depends on what kind of people you know i guess.
-
Wait ? I'm a brit so to put it into perspective how old are you when you start high school normally ?
-
It only gets harder.
-
Only in the sense of maintaining one. Anyone who tells you it's easier to start after high school is lying out of their ass.
-
A little. The new problem is how far you love from the person your dating at times
-
Depends on what your goals are.
-
Face it guys. If you're on this site, you can't talk to women.
-
Edited by Masterful: 5/13/2014 8:09:09 PMYes. And it might actually mean something for once too.
-
For most people-definetely: more fish in the sea and all that. However for a select few, who at that age realise things about themselves or want to change things, it gets nigh-impossible.
-
I'd say they're very different. Highschool was easy only if you had a car or if you double dated with someone who did.
-
Yeah. But don't worry about girls; put time into bettering yourself. Girls love a guy with goals.
-
Yes. Everything is easier after high school. Except life. Life gets much harder when you have to pay bills, get a job etc. Then you realise high school was actually great.
-
-
No. It is not easier. It is worse.
-
There is only one constant with women, and that is that they are puzzling.
-
I go to perfume shops and spray fragrances on myself so I feel like I've been around other women.
-
No it's just pretty much one night stands
-
I dunno, I'm still doing my time down in Pleb Town (high school).
-
No it's the same, MAN UP AND GET YOU SOME!
-
It depends on who you go after and where you are in your life. On the positive side, there's going to be more girls out there who have "grown up" and actually have their life on track. But there's also going to be a fair amount of girls who are still immature and act without considering the consequences. My older bro's current girlfriend is the first one, and everything seems to be going great. His previous one... Let's just say she was an angry drunk and he just bailed out of that relationship. My bro's got his career going, while I'm broke and still trying to finish my certifications. So obviously, I'm not on the dating scene.
-
I'd say it's easier. There's less pressure about it.
