As an atheist in a Protestant evangelical school, I was extremely surprised to find out in a show of hands that the overwhelming majority (think 95%) of the Christians in the school, teachers and students alike, have never read the entire Bible before.
I find this extremely aggravating. These are the same people trying to shove a Bible down your throats, yet they themselves have not thoroughly read every page of it before. No wonder most Christians do not see any contradictions in their holy book -- they have not read 3/4 of the damn thing. Do you not know that when these religious nuts try to convert you to their religion, they only pick out the nice sounding parts and omit the rest? They tell of how Christianity is a religion of love, tolerance, respect, and honor, but never tell you the full story. Richard Dawkins wrote in "The God Delusion" that the Christian God is "jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully". Perhaps this may sound like clever word play, but in truth these traits can all be found in the Holy Bible itself.

I've read it before a long time ago.
