Bungie has given and promised us many great many wonderful things. Guardians, guns, grenades, glory, shrikes, scientific sorcery, and Swords! Superiorly Supreme Swift Swashbuckling essentials Swords look to be the dark horse weapon feature of Destiny that many of us are looking to bring evolution to Bungie's FPS play style. The speed and power of the swords from what we have heard, seen, and speculated looks to be impressive especially with more and more blade weapon type action appearing in great detail from what small drops Bungie lets free from the ocean of information that is Destiny. I have resolved therefore to bring to Bungie's attention how deep the appreciation for swords in Destiny is and how many people that appreciation encompasses. I want Bungie to know that swords to us are more that just a one hit melee button weapon, they are as much a part of our Guardians as their revolvers, shotguns, rifles, missile launchers, armor, powers from the Traveler, and their digitally pixelated skin which carries our own wills. The very reputation and bravado of the spirit embodying swords deserves at least that much, and in my personal opinion the status of a fully equipped melee weapon not just some temporary pick up item dropped by an enemy. That they should be able live in that glory undimmed. Anyone wishing to voice their own passion for blades as a means to lead your fire team with inspiration upon witnessing your glorious bravery of taking on the minions of the Darkness in hand to hand combat with a blade bathed in Traversal light, feel free to do so here so that Bungie may here the songs of our swords.
