And to ensure replies: This is one of the reasons why I don't believe in God.
All those people all thought they had the one true religion bit down. They believed in Zeus or Odin and their creation stories. Or thought that the world was flat and carried around on a giant turtle flying through space.
What makes Christians, Jews, and Muslims so sure they got it right this time when so many others were "wrong" and eventually faded from existence once another more attractive religion came along?
Not to mention that since it happened before, it'll surely happen again and that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam will be replaced with something else.

Is evolution or atheism on that chart? They both are religeons
-
Edited by BrenMan 94: 4/27/2014 3:42:04 PMYou don't believe in a god because of a chart? kek

Your Methew is obsession, pathetic.
-
Where's Shintoism?
-
Nice try, Methew, but the only religion here is yourself.
Evolution of Religion
What the -blam!- are you doing!?
-
Confucianism master race.

>bitch doesn't even Talos Come back when you learn real religion

Am I supposed to believe anything I see as long as it's on a colorful chart?
-
That is all well and good but isn't it possible to come to another conclusion with that chart? A spiritual side does seem to exist and we just don't know what or who it is. Perhaps it is a genetic mark that makes us steer toward religion and a higher being. Perhaps it is the people who do not believe in god or a higher being that are abnormal. inb4Jimmiesbrustled

I know it's a bit too cOLD to post but, whatever. Notice how idiotic this is when read from the Christian point of view.
-
The amount of bullshit in that graph is overwhelming.
-
What would Islam, Judaism and Christianity be replaced with?
-
Romans created Christianity to convert people, rather than conquer them. Most Religion stories and beliefs come from the Sumerians, and other old civilisations before the Egyptians.
based on a drunk'n mind
Well, I'm starting to believe in god and have faith because I can't contemplate existence or why I exist. It keeps me up at night just thinking about the universe and all the forms of life we have on just this planet. However, I don't agree with most things that are in the bible, they are outdated stories. I like the messages that I hear in church such as being selfless, forgiving, and helping others and that's what I try to do.

It's not even the metaphysics and ontology which is the problem with religion. It's the epistemology and ethics of it. Everybody is an agnostic, and the only people who try and truly deny that are dogmatic fundamentalists. Having a belief that there is a extra-natural superintendent is fine. Having the belief, or pretending to have the knowledge, of precisely who this superintendent is, is where it crosses the line.

Methew your obsession is pathetic.

Thank you for making a religious thread. We really needed another one.
-
Edited by TheAntiroxas: 4/28/2014 7:21:52 PMDo you really believe this ,it could be debunked easily. IDK IF MOST RELIGIONS HERE ARE TRUE
-
You know, some people would look at this as being a pretty damn cool chart instead of seeing it in a negative light, but I guess that's just me. Note: I liked this thread for the picture, not your flame bait of an op...

Religion has always survived in music.
-
I'm so -blam!-ing tired of all these religion threads. It's always either "I'M ATHEIST LISTEN TO ME" or "I'M CHRISTIAN LISTEN TO ME". The allowing of religious discussion has made this forum into an even bigger cesspool of stupidity, narcissism, and baiting. I don't care if this is blatant bait because this shit is obviously out of control. /anger

I read the title as Evolution of the Railgun and got excited. Needless to say, many disappoints were had.

Edited by Le Dustin xddddd: 4/26/2014 5:22:48 PMITT: Christians get butthurt after realizing how connected they are to primitive culture But then again, you really can't apply logic to people that believe in magic.

Edited by Tartan 118: 4/26/2014 5:25:03 PMVery interesting. Took me a while to find Christianity.
