It all starts at 0:15. I am just curious, how does this make you feel? Is this guy spot on? Or is he just another ignorant thiest who has no idea what he is on about?

I'm atheist, but I'm not Anti-Theist. However, seeing something as ignorant as this can really piss me off sometimes. Theism is fine, but if it effects education or rational thinking it can be dangerous. As for this video, it feels very childish to me, like he is desperately trying to shift blame to Atheism in order to cover his yawing gaps of logic.

behold the beauty and majesty of god's creation
-
I'm feeling fat... and sassy.

-
guy sucks
-
Even though I'm Catholic, I still find it abhorrent that people who are religious act like this. Really, what happened to "love thy enemy?" Even as someone who has a faith, I think he's an ignorant theist that has absolutely no idea about a single thing he's talking about.

Edited by VIC: 4/18/2014 1:53:05 PMMeh. Not offended by someone who is building up a caricature of a group of people and tearing it down. Edit: but I'm more apathetic than anything else.
-
Obnoxiously vocal people are annoying on either side.
-
It's okay when a preacher wants to have a bit of a sense of humor, but it shouldn't be a comedy act.
-
Edited by SuperSmeller: 4/17/2014 5:19:22 PMright off the bat his argument is stupid. im not going to bother watching the rest. "under god" shouldn't be in the pledge because this is not a christian nation and because separation of church and state - not because "it offends me" "unicorns!" this guy is a child.

I violated the Code of Miscumduct and was met with Ninja Injustice.

The thing is that most intelligent people want to see to believe. It's true that many of mankind's greatest feats are not truly tangible. Gods existence can't be proven as a tangible thing. Now astrophysics on the other hand is the hunt for that true proof. I'm a catholic by choice. I feel it's better to keep ones mouth closed and be presumed ignorant than to open it and remove all doubt.
-
this is a really weird stand-up act
-
I feel complete apathy and indifference.
-
Is he supposed to be a comedian? His style seems a lot like George Carlin's.
-
is pewdiepie trying his hand at stand up?
-
Personally? I really don't care. It doesn't offend me. I don't like anyone, athiest or otherwise, who trys to cram their belief, or lack of, down someones throat. All athiests should just be like "Well I don't believe in him and I will now let people live their life without pressing my views on anyone." It's what I do and I have friends from all major religions. Even a few minor ones.
-
I'm not offended, I just think it doesn't properly represent a large amount of Americans, and therefore should be altered or removed.
-
Edited by A Traffic Cone: 4/18/2014 1:36:17 AMIt doesn't offend me lol, I still say it because it's part of my country's pledge of allegiance. If it said "In the name of -blam!-, murder, and violence we pledge to be the worst country ever" I'd still say it. Although I wouldn't agree with it or like it. Also, he had a good point from the start then he killed it after he started to make fun of Atheists and the idea of Evolution. If you're a decent atheist and what one should be you won't get all antsy over stuff like this or feel the need to verbally attack someone who disagrees with you on your beliefs. Those kinds of Atheists are what give us all a bad name.
-
Edited by Madman Mordo: 4/17/2014 2:29:08 PMBecause incorporating religion with government is highly unconstitutional, and one of the main points the Founding Fathers wanted to focus a lot of effort into preventing, because ya know, fascist theocracy and all that. You don't even have to be an atheist to realise places like Saudi Arabia and The Vatican aren't the most ideal political structures to mirror. And yes, having "Under God" in the pledge of allegiance is unconstitutional and relatively theocratic.
-
This guy is a creationist retard lmao. He had a slight point in the first minute or so but the moment he started blabbering about how evolution is stupid and creationism is so awesome he just lost all credibility.
-
He's missing the point so badly that it physically hurts.
-
Edited by Meta Cognition : 4/17/2014 2:21:49 PMThe guy is an utter retard. The point is not the metaphysical implications of having God referenced in civic space, but the ethical, epistemic and political consequences of having, what is essentially, a fascist attitude towards existence. Evolution says that what survives is all that matters? I stopped watching.
Brad Stine first gained exposure when he was identified as a conservative Christian on his debut album, Put a Helmet On!

Indiana
That's 'Murica fer yeh
-
He has no clue. Does he even know what athiest means. Just because you are atgiest doesnt mean you can believe in chivalry , and actually, it can be explained by science. This man is ignorant
-
I'm not offended by god. I'm offended by ignorance, and this man has plenty of it.
