Well, this is surprising. Looks like the game wasn't doing well in the Microsoft Store via Windows 8/Windows Phone, so they turned to Steam.
So ya, before if you wanted to play this game, you needed a Windows 8 computer, a Windows Phone, or an Xbox One.
Here's something that I found funny.
Windows 8/Windows Phone price - $2
Steam price - $5
[b]Xbox One price - $15

Now that's very funny. Anyways, I wasn't even going to bother with this game before, but now since it's on Steam and only for $5, I think I'm gonna pick it up now.
EDIT: Maybe this is also a sign of things to come? Maybe Microsoft is starting to move their games over to Steam? And maybe we'll get those Halo ports on Steam? Who knows, but it needs to happen.

The game doesn't interest me - it's the fact that microsoft (343) are using a distribution service not run by or controlled by them (Valve being the owners of Steam). Perhaps they are testing out competitive prices for digital games? Pricing one at $5, and one at $2, and one at $15 and seeing which is more popular - what's the main force driving their game sales (Is it the price, the platform, the distributor, or something else), and sort of testing the waters.
