...do you think Obama will be remembered as a good president? Personally, I don't like him at all (being a democrat myself) but I think he'll serve as a big symbol to the Democratic party, similar to how Reagan is a symbol of the Republicans. Why?
Well, first of all, he's black so he'll be seen as a symbol of racial equality for the dems.
Second, he didn't technically START any wars, so he'll probably be seen as a peaceful president despite the disaster that is the continuation of the Afghan War. Oh, and people will forget about the whole Benghazi thing by then (a fiasco which I still don't understand the big deal about anyway, but whatever) He'll probably conveniently end the Afghan war at the end of his presidency as a means of creating an illusion that he achieved global peace by ending two wars started by a Republican. In addition, no big terrorist attacks have occurred during his presidency so he'll be remembered as one keeping peace at home and abroad. How convenient.
Third, nothing that catastrophic economy-wise has really occurred. He started his term with the country covered with shit, and now there's some more shit on top. Bush will continue to be blamed like Carter was.
I think Obamacare may actually be remembered well in the future. Dems will probably praise it as something that allowed global health or something like that. Nobody will remember the controversy it's causing currently (again, something I don't understand why, but that's a separate issue) Or the whole thing will just be forgotten.
Also, no memorable scandals have occurred during his presidency. I think wiretapping and whatnot is gonna become the norm anyway in the future so no one will care 30 years from now about that, and he hasn't had any extramarital affairs or anything.
If he got killed, he'd probably be practically sainted later on.
So, thoughts?

No because he works for a political party, not the people of the country, congress got next to nothing done during his term, he approved of trading weapons to cartels(among other things), and he continued to BS the American people.
