I have recently become part of a twenty man team of game developers currently dubbed Much Wow Such Games (This is not some kind of troll. This is just a placeholder name until we think of a better one) and we are about to start working on our first project together. I'm would like to know what kind of games you guys would be interested in seeing us make. Keep in mind many of us have not done this before and we don't have pretty much any budget. Think small, like an indie game. However if you guys manage to come up with an idea so amazing and brilliant that we have to make it before anyone else does, we might make a kick starter for it. So come on, give us your thoughts.
UPDATE: We have choses to call ourselves Atrium Studios, a name I despise with a passion. However 2/3 of the team voted for it so screw me. There were two other choices, Urbane Studios (my personal favorite) and All American Sweatshop (don't even ask). I did come up with another name I liked, sadly it was after the vote. The name was Afloat Studios. Which one would you guys have voted for?

DayZ for consoles

"Master Chief Takes a Space Dump: the Video Game"

An open-world-free-roam-Sci-Fi-Action-RPG. I would grab one of those in an instant. Unfortunately, both of the ones I was interested in got cancelled/stuck in development hell.

Dragon Ball Z mmo

Edited by FlabbyRhino: 2/1/2014 6:43:05 PMI think Much Wow Such Games was better

Edited by CallMeBeach: 2/1/2014 6:38:14 PMBe creative and original, and if it's a small PC game im sure people here would love to beta test for you. Most importantly make a game you and your company would play, if you have fun making it, it will turn out better My Idea: A 2d game where you have to platform through a circular planet to get to the center of it

Rocket Squierrel: Protector of Nuts. Nuff said.

Make some thing new do some thing like bungie did revolutionize gaming make a couple of small games then plan to make a big game out of your own ideas think of something that has never been done before. First hire more people when making this game and go from theater get ideas from your fan base and get ideas from your co workers good luck and my idea would be some sort of fps with rpg elements but have it be a modern day end of the world type style like every thing is falling apart and the main character is in the military and him and is squad try to survive trying to rescue survivors and also trying to get back home to save there're family. :)

Assassins creed VIII: Mary Poppins adventure in Burma

Think of a combination of Sword art online with a little magic thrown in thats not op, but without the real kill in real life.
-
I am actually designing a game at the moment, i prefer to not give details for I am planning on developing it in the future or pitching it to some companies.
-
When I was little, before I really knew that video games like this were already available, I thought it would be really cool to have a game where you could play as a soldier, but you could also get into tanks or fly helicopters (basically Battlefield). Also, I thought it would be fun if the same idea above had a Star Wars theme (Basically Battlefront). So, I guess I never had any new or radical ideas, just something I thought would be cool, that actually already existed.
-
I have a vision where you purchase a game and that's it, no $60 season passes, just a one off purchase and your done. Crazy right.
-
If I could make a game I'd make an open world zombie game like DayZ, but for consoles and PC and ect.
-
I would have voted for Afloat

Edited by M80: 1/31/2014 2:14:59 PM1. a map pack with 10 community voted maps from ALL previous halo games for all subsequent main halo games 2. forge in destiny with distinct parts of popular maps from halo, so that forgers can recreate the maps easily themselves and destiny isn't really "using" halo stuff, since Microsoft owns the intellectual rights to halo too (will this work?) 3. master chief style destiny armor 4. classic (halo 3) master chief armor in halo 5 as a reward for campaign completion on at least normal (AND YES, I ONLY READ THE TITLE, SO I'M SORRY FOR POSTING THIS HERE)

Edited by Madame Corbeau: 1/31/2014 6:46:08 AMYou should really keep that name. Ten years from now, I want to see a super serious trailer with the words "Much Wow Such Games presents..." But on your request... Have you, or anybody in your group, played Dust: An Elysian Tail? I'd love to see a game with similar artwork, and smooth flowing combat but with lots of RPG elements (different classes, gear, stats, create a character etc.) All from a 2-d perspective. It's an idea I've had in my head for a long time. Though I imagine something like this would probably be difficult for beginners, Dust was only created by one guy. There's twenty of you!

When I was a kid, there was this show called "Biker Mice From Mars". I'd really like to see some side-scroller action shooter using "sprites", the 2D figures like Mortal Kombat Arcade. But I'd change the mice to men, soldiers stationed on Mars. Not actual alien humanoid mice...because that's just not going to work anymore, imo. A 2-D game, Biker Mice From Mars (men in helmets with vents that resemble the shape of mouse ears), fighting fish people or whatever. Aliens! Have them race across the red planet on awesome motorcycles...running down guys that look like this Fish people from the Battleship movie. Haha! Heck, when I was thinking this up, I wanted it to be a movie with Liam Neeson as Throttle, Ryan Reynolds as Vinnie, and Michael Clarke Duncan or Terry Cruise as Moto. Crazy, yeah.

Zombies. Not too many zombie games out there and lots of fans waiting.

Well this topic (if serious) deserves a lot of love. For me, I want to see more subtle, but powerful character interaction. Something that doesn't peak immediately, but paces higher until climax. Like a good night in bed (which I know nothing about). More choices in movement really draws me in. Assassin's Creed oversimplifies too much though, I want there to be more skill associated with movement. Character-wise there's more need of female protagonists, plain and simple. I would also suggest queer protagonists, but I'm not sure if the gaming world is ready for them yet. I always enjoy a good story and solid gameplay mechanics over all else. Take some unconventional viewpoints and weave them in to provoke thought. For instance, that suicide is a brave thing requiring guts. Now, the veracity of such a statement is opinion, but if you guys are compelling enough developers, you may make a case for it to provide a completely new experience. Spitballin'

Here's a new one, (might be new Idek lol) a game where you play as the zombie! I mean I think there has been one of those, but I mean I don't even know what it's called. It would be something like you have to defend the city from survivors coming in, but you can't see them unless you hear them. I don't know, it sounds cool, but I guess I'm no expert on this topic. Oh, and you could have the zombies wear different costumes for shits and giggles.

Edited by Lifts Her Tail: 1/31/2014 3:47:35 AMPeople really dont know what they want. If you are asking people for ideas, you are mostly just gonna get rehashes of things that they already like. Also, Call me immature, but I like the name.
