Physics

K so seeing that this game spans throughout the solar system, I was thinking that we could have different physics for the different planets Like half gravity on Venus Quick movements and high jumps in quick paced fighting Or a little bit of a heavier movement on the sands of Mars where strategy beats brute force Also for the places where it's in space like that broken ship near Saturn We could have no gravity and wear jet packs or something And in the city What if the Traveler's mass is so large that it has a gravitational pull of its own That'd be so cool walking/ floating through the city And I'd like to see more map movement or interaction like a giant sandstorm moves in on Mars in the middle of fighting or a tree falling on Venus as a rocket explodes We could fuse this with our armor As the guardian walks through Mars, he/she gets a more scratched up look to indicate where he's been Or have gravity boots to explore space wreckage or thermal goggles to give you more range in the blinding snowstorms of Europa Probably won't happen in Destiny at least not Destiny 1 but it'd be cool to have it in any game Just my two cents What are your thoughts on this or what else would you like to see?

  • The only part of this I like is cosmetic damage to armor. For instance, say you finally save enough cash to buy that shiny new chest plate from your merchant buddy at the tower. You then head down into the Hellmouth with your homies. You somehow manage to survive and upon coming back into the sunlight, you notice some new char marks on the chest plate. This may be completely over the top and undoable, but it sure would add to the realism and keep you attached to your armor...
