A necessary process in acquiring the percentage of a number is by converting the percentage to decimal and then multiplying it by the number. Half of the battle is knowledge of multiplication and half of the battle is knowing how to convert percentages. It can be tricky at first but there's a pattern that you can follow once you look at some of the answers. Below are five math problems. Convert each percentage to decimal.
1) 1%
2) 82%
3) 633%
4) 216.4%
5) 2687.5%

I didn't realise that we went back in time to 2003 where I was 10 years old and this was new. Weird.

1) 1% = 0.01 2) 82% = 0.82 3) 633%= 6.63 4) 216.4% = 2.164 5) 2687.5% = 26.875
