Superman is the worst hero of all time.
They created someone with infinite strength. His only weakness is a piece of his home world. He's practically unbeatable, and when he does 'lose' it's a complete fluke. They make him lose to even the playing field so to speak. Like "well what do you mean he's invincible? He-he died here, see?!" It's all garbage. Spider-man is a better hero. He's not completely OP, he loses, and through time and careful planning he wins in the end. But superman just strolls in and falcon-punches everyone into kingdom come.
But his only weakness is literally one of the dumbest things I have ever heard, plus when they want a villain to win to shake things up they just -blam!-ing purchase it like it's as plentiful as diamonds in Africa. Don't you remember how far away Krypton was? Yeah, what's the likely hood of a piece of that world coming to ours? Slim to none, and on top of that someone finding it and instantly know that it's superman's weakness? Garbage.

While i agree that superman sucks (sorta). Spiderman does too. He's only effective in a city. What is he gonna do in a corn field? Throw corn at you?

Yeah, I feel like his vast array of superpowers actually make him boring since he's technically capable of dealing with any situation by himself without any real tactical thought.

Superman is the [i]original[/i] superhero. He's [i]meant[/i] to be perfect, a paragon of everything we should aspire to be. And of course he always wins. He's the good guy. Good always wins.

Darkseid, H'El, Doomsday, Helspont, Psycho Pirate, H.I.V.E, Zod, Ocean Master, Shazam!, Martian Manhunter, Wraith, Braniac, Anti-Monitor, Nekron, Metallo, The Kryptonite Man, The Crime Syndicate, Steppenwolf, Orion, and pretty much anyone who can use magic, are all able to match or exceed Superman. Besides, being strong =/= a bad hero.
