EVE Operation and Screenshot Thread. It's Story Time!

EVE Online is a game that many people on B.net (and in many other places around the net) love to hear about and see screenshots of, but don't actually like to play. So as one of the few players of EVE I sometimes like to talk about the things that either my corporation or myself have done in the game. This is the first time that I've ever taken screenshots of one of these operations though. First some back story On 11/19/2013 the Rubicon expansion launched for EVE Online. One of feature of this free expansion was the ability for players and corporations to own high sec custom offices. What this essentially does is allow player made corporations to collect taxes on everything that's extracted from the planet. In EVE nearly everything you will buy on the market is player crafted as the games economy is nearly 100% player driven. There are no NPCs for you to sell your useless shit to for extra cash. This leads to an interesting and hyper competitive market in trade hubs like Jita (the games main trade hub) where the prices of things can skyrocket or plummet rapidly within the span of just a couple days (sometimes even less). Thus the control of highsec planets can be valuable as that will provide your corporation with a good income provided that you can also defend them from other corporations who might declare war on you. Now the meaty bits On the day of the expansion my corporation got together a fleet of 100 ships to go around and take control of 35 planets. Not much to say other than the fact that I flew an Astero (a frigate) which was one of the new ships released with the expansion. Here's your pretty pictures. Post the ones you like, give me tips or suggestions to improve my screenshot taking (I don't do it very often so I'm not the best), ask questions, or just discuss this shit in general.
Please discuss and thankyou.
Been playing EVE for about 3 years and a quick break down of my history Started in early 2011 Because I knew the importance of player corps, I went looking for one almost immediately after my trial. I found one. It was a hybrid hi sec, low sec corp. So I learned alot of how EVE works very quickly. Also during this time, I was deciding on what career path to go for. I eventually decided on combat with a gunnery focus. I tried missiles but for me they were un satisfying at the time. ( missiles used to have no turret models and just fired the missile from the ship's center) So, about a month in, I hear about incursions. Missions were really boring me so I decided to try it out, so me and my little ferox went or run them. Quickly I had the cash to buy a rokh and things were really tooling by then. My current corp was starting to die. The ceo who I liked had not been online for about a month and corp membership had taken a dive. So I went looking for a new home. I bounced around a few corps until I ran into Azulor. He was a old timer and at the time a incursion commander. We bonded over the destruction of Sansha for a month or so and he asked me if I want to join this corp he is forming. I said yes. This was a very good decision for me. Over the next month, I learned pvp. Even had my first low sec roams to famous places like Old Man Star, Makia, and Ammanake to name a few. I grew fond of PVP and only used incursions really for a quick buck. I wanted to try null sec next. Knowing full well I cannot get into a high end alliance easily at the time ( this was in early December 2012) I stumbled upon a corp called Pioneers of Galactic Wars in Imperial Legion. Stayed for them for a month. During this time they thought me the fundamentals of null and how to survive. I also learned what not to do. Such as one dat I was ratting in a relatively safe system, not really paying attention to local and a swarm of neutrals cones in. Sure enough, my machariel was a juicy target to they came on me like a pack of wolves. And I died. What pissed me off though was that I asked for help and there were 20 alliance members in system. No one showed up. So once again I went hunting for a new corp but one restriction this time. Null sec only. SoI was contacted by a corp in TEST alliance. I was thinking, ok might as well give them a try. So I went through their recruitment process and saw they ask for a security. Me being stupid fell for this scam. Then I was told I was pending accepted and to contract my stuff to a courier guy for transport. Yet again fell for a scam. Thankfully the stuff I contracted was just pvp assets and nit things like my spare mach. But this put a bad taste for the goons and their allies. So I went hunting again. Now, this guy named MCTripline contacted me. He was the CEO of Ore Whores Ghaloure ( eventually renamed Solus Evolution Corp) a corp in Intrepid Crossing. They did everything from mining and production to PVE and also actively PVP'd. Sounded legit and I joined. Not a hour after I arrived in Cobalt Edge a large fleet was forming. So I quickly slapped together a drake and went along. That was my first true exposure to titans and super carriers. I eventually spent over a year with this corp. during my time here I heavily PVP'ed and used a won vindicator th rat with. IRC was a ticking time bomb but the corp and its members were the only reason I stayed. It almost felt like a second family. But eventually IRC failscaded thanks to Razor Alliance in the first few months of 2013. So after evacuating my assets out of dronelands, I decided to take a month break. I come back to find my once glorious corp in pieces. A large group of members had split off to do their own thing and Tripline was still clinging to the shell of both the failed alliance and his failing corp. so even though it was painful to leave, I went looking for a new home once again. So I was contacted by a guy named FallenSkys. He was a member of NUL-li-fy, a Nulli Secunda corp. i was taken a back because I was not expecting to get a conversation with a top 50 corp ( thats top 50 in kills through eve-kill.net for the entirety of EVE). So cautious of the last big alliance I tried to join, I read the fine print this time. They were very much legit and did not scam recruits. So I completed their relatively lengthy recruitment process and was accepted. In the short 6 months so far being a part of Nul-li-fy, I have done more pvp than ever before. I now own my first carrier and dread as well. Right now Nulli Secunda is at war with several Russian entities such as AAA, Darkness and Solar. On top of that, the CFC has decided to dog pile onto us. Will Nulli survive the odds? Time will tell but this final chapter in my EVE history is by far the best so far.
