Motion Controls Current & Future Gen - Kinect / Move / Wii

Y'all who played a lot of motion-controlled games this gen, Wii, Move, Kinect especially. Beyond the "omg kewl gadget" novelty factor, as a concept/in theory I have to admit that body motion controls as an option or an entire game conceit are a worthwhile addition to the ecosystem, especially with VR-like peripherals on the not-too-distant horizon. I don't know anything about the Move, never tried it. I never owned Kinect for my 360 but I've heard that, like input latency plagued even the upgraded wiimote plus (which I did use and share that frustration), v1 left a lot to be desired. Were there any games on Kinect this gen that you felt did work really well, or that you feel would have been great had the Kinect just worked "like it says on the tin"? Have you seen or read anything that makes you feel like it will just work this gen? Are there any killer apps for it next gen that are one of the reasons you're getting an XBO first/second after the Wii U/as your only 8th gen console? Did PS3's Move outshine Wiimote controls in any respects, if you've played both? Anything really shine with the wiimote for you? And are you excited for how PS4 uses/will use the feature?
Full disclosure while I def. won't be an early adopter for PS4 or XBO I am planning on getting at least one of the two, not sure which. Don't know yet if Kinect 2.0 is something that I'm weighing heavily on the "Pro" column. As far as I know, the PS4 has the Move which is more wii-mote like, and some "kinect-lite" features planned with the camera – sold separately which brings the optional cost difference closer to the XBO.
TL;DR IF those sort of games have offered or will offer a (admittedly subjective) worthwhile experience of the sort that a controller can't, I'd want the full-featured motion control suite over the lesser one, so as we move fully into 8th gen it's on my mind. That's a big IF, and that's why I'm putting it out there. Let's try to keep it on topic: what motion tracking/sensor/camera-based applications and motion control do or could do for games, for you and all kinds of players.
