When your employer says "Ill call you"
Well Flood, it appears I have been layed off from work, i went in today to get my paycheck for last week, and my boss said hes cutting hours from everyone. What really bothered me was seeing a new guy doing my job...so I asked him if he needed me next week and he said "Ill call you"
I think I just got fired politely...
Anyone have experience with this?

Sorry to hear this, hope it just sounds bad and he doesn't fire you. I haven't experienced this yet, because I haven't had a job. Playing football for my college sorta makes that impossible.

Ask your boss if your laidoff then if you live in the United States file unemployment.
