Just what the title says, You guys forget that Bungie makes games based on what they like in a video game. They don't care about labeling it an MMO or an FPS. Yes they are conscious of what people perceive but that's more of a marketing and PR issue. First off we have no idea what Destiny will be like because we've seen so little of it. Second the game is still in development so there are probably countless features and game mechanics that may or may not make it into the final product that will ultimately form what we get on launch day, and lastly the only thing we do know is that the game will be fun as hell. It's going to include a lot of "flavor" from other genre's, other games, probably past Bungie games, and shit that's so new and mind-blowing we can't even conceive of it yet. So stop trying to come up with something; whether it be a genre, game, or wholly new terminology, to compare Destiny to.
