I need help buying a computer. Must run Minecraft smoothly with TEKKIT
...So this is a computer i may or may not get, not sure if it can do it. The budget limit is $650.00 (USD). I dont care if laptop or desktop.

Though Minecraft itself is fairly easy to run with a good/decent FPS with pretty much any integrated graphics. The only problem is I don't know how much Tekkit ups the graphics for Minecraft. Though I imagine the OP would still be able to run it at a decent FPS even with Tekkit.[/quote] That's what I'm thinking, too.
