Bungie has long been known for making beautiful environments. Only a select few actually stop in the middle of a firefight to stare at one of these amazing phenomenon that they put into each and every level, myself being one of them. I want to put up an image, each time one comes up, of the beauty in Destiny. For starters I wanted to put up the fascinating backdrop:

Its amazing, with towering mountains and the large wall, and the stunning valley below.
Next we have:

A beautiful red expanse before us promises for hours of exploration.
Now I almost cried(not really) when I saw this:

It is VERY hard to go from amazing concept art to a perfect 3D replica of it, but Bungie finally did it. I thought this was the coolest concept art piece and now that I got to see it I can not be more ready to get my hands on that beautiful disc that Destiny will be shipped on.
This is NOT a joke thread. I'm very serious when I say that Bungie is a King of making action look beautiful.

I LOVE VENUS!

One of the first places that I'll be heading to.
I'm pretty sure that this is a rendered shot:

If it's a render I gotta say that bungie has really hit it right with this amazing snow ridden hell-mouth.

Space Ruins are amazing!

I dont know where this is(we can only assume) but it looks mystic and exciting. Dark and mysterious, it beckons you to stare at it in awe.
Earth's looking stunning
http://i.imgur.com/xtlO54B.jpg?1
I'm pretty sure that this is Earth. And its certainly looking majestic here. Another first on my list of visiting-at-nighttime. It speakes of bitter fights in the dead of night. Ruins of our golden age lay strewn about, waiting for us to reclaim them.
Ominous Tower
http://i.imgur.com/fY5ocFj.jpg?1
This is a most likely in the depths of the horrifying Hellmouth of our moon. Its glares at you, daring you to explore it and unearth what might be hidden inside. Beautiful looking in its own fearsome way.

Yellow Stone of Venus
http://www.bungie.net/pubassets/3813/venus_desktop.jpg
The wonders of nature, tranquil and all that crap. Bringing in a ship and flying over nature sounds so much more epic and amazing than just being in it.
P.S I mute all trolls ;)

I can't help but be insanely hyped about this game. That garden...oh man. I have not seen a game this beautiful in a long time, and considering that Bungie is behind it... Wow.
-
You know, I try really hard to not get too hyped with a game because it'll suck if the game is bad, but I just can't help it with Destiny. It just looks amazing, like a breath of fresh air from all of the generic shooters. I'm putting a TON of faith in this game, but I just know Bungie can and will pull it off.
-
I'm ready for you now Destiny.
-
The last one is concept art, look at the url lol.
-
Oh man yes, sitting in your own space ship (or just a derelict shiip) and just chilling, admiring all the space and the vex bots trying to tear the planet a new one would be great. Along with venus having jungles. which it is not known to have these days. I wonder if it will have some volcanoes still from when it was volcanic as a 15 year old boys face.
-
One of my favorite moments in Reach was sitting on the bridge of that Covenant ship with a friend for hours, just examining each and every detail, talking about the lore behind it all, and just soaking in the beauty. If they can give me the same experience in Destiny, I will be a happy man.
-
I can't wait to see what danger lies within the black garden (along with all the loot) :D

Black Garden looks awesome!

Edited by BlueRaith: 8/28/2013 6:21:51 PMYeah, I agree that Bungie knows how to make their environments beautiful. I'm looking forward to Venus so much.

I actually got chills when I saw him moving towards the Black Garden (that's the name right?). Just seeing it perfectly rendered in 3D was amazing.

*sigh* Fanboy and TL;DR
