In regards to movies, I've always liked Padme Amidala in the Star Wars movie. As a kid who grow up under a Star Wars-loving father, I naturally grew to like Star Wars as well. Being that Padme Amidala was pretty and was really my first "TV romance", she just kind of grew on me. That, and when my father died (when I was young, might I add), the series took a fairly emotional place in my heart. As such, Padme reserved a special spot in my heart. <3 On a less dramatic note, I really liked Shane from The Walking Dead. Despiting being psychotic at times, I found him to be the most practical of the group, and his absence only proved that someone equally as hardened needed to take the place. Beyond that, he played an excellent role in opposing the main character, but in a very believable and (potentially) support-garnering way. In terms of video games, I really Bastila Shan from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. KOTOR was my first RPG, but it's still definitely my favorite. The story is excellent, and I think that it draws quite a bit from Bastila. She's that one mysterious character that you're searching for from the start, and she eventually makes a deep connection with the main character. Perhaps I was easily wooed as a young kid, but I have forever loved Bastila from that very special day. Or time. Or whatever.
