What is the most severe injury you've received in your life? Mine happened when I was a toddler, something or other ripped through the lower part of my mouth and my mother had to sew it up. Now I have two nifty lil' scars on my bottom lip :D What severe physical (or even mental) injuries have you attained in your life! I'd really love to know!

  • I...ehrm...-blam!-!
no but seriously I got my Sternum Fractured with a couple of ribs and a skull fracture in a fight. First this asshole (we were in a bar, BTW) picks me up and throws me on the floor (the ribs) and then, a bit later, some other douche smashes a stool right in the middle of my sternum and then, well, I tried to stand up and fell on my face, which was already pretty -blam!-ed up. Best Bachelor party ever.
I got shot in the foot. I was 11 years old (Now I'm 13) and all of the males in my family went camping. My uncle who used to be a cop had brought some guns, my cousins and I were taking turns shooting the smallest weakest gun there. I was standing next to my cousin who was pointing the pistol down to the ground, he had accidentally pulled the trigger and it hit me right in the foot. It hurt bad but my uncle took out the bullet and wrapped up my foot. We then rushed to the nearest hospital which was about 4 hours away. Once we got there I got proper treatment and couldn't really walk on my foot for a while. It wasn't the best experience but all things happen for a reason and I can now say I've been shot. It was pretty much my fault anyways I shouldn't have been standing so close.

  • I fractured my arm and dislocated my elbow once in 7th grade. I don't remember how exactly, but it involved bounce houses. I wouldn't call it severe either, just kinda felt like a cramp.

  • When a friend of mine lived on a farm and he, his brother, and I were out messing around with bows and BB guns shooting hay bales (we must have been around 10 or 11) his brother Phil snuck around a hay bale when we weren't looking. I guess he was going to pop out or something, but before he could do that, my friend Craig shot an arrow straight through the hay bale. It just so happened to impact Phil's right eye and go into his head. I still can't imagine the looks on our faces when he came around with an arrow sticking out of his bloody head. It wasn't my own injury, but it's definitely worst than what I've experienced and I still make fun of Phil today for it too. He likes to wig people out by popping his glass eye out.

  • When I was 11 I was in my home country (Pakistan) and my cousin told me to go upstairs. (the house was open no roof expect for 3 rooms) so I went up than he grabbed me and since I was heavy compared to him we both toppled over. The stairs were made of stone so it hurt real hard when I got hit on the head at the bottem, my head got a cut that was 2 inches long, my cousin got a cut on his knee.
and I'm so manly I didn't even GET THE CUT STITCHED IT JUST GOT FIXED BY ITSELF
• Worst injury I was at the park with the daycare one day and it had one of those really shitty zip line things. So anyways, all the kids were to short to reach it so a councilor would lift you up to grab on and set you down when you get off. So I take my turn, flailing around like a maniac and I get back to the start where the guy is waiting. So he puts his hands on my sides like he's about to take me off so I let go thinking I would be set lightly on the ground. But for some reason he let go and turned around as I let go causing the back of my head to come crashing down on the edge of one of those play ground platforms. I hear a thunk and a sharp pain goes through my head. Next thing I know there's blood everywhere and everyone is rushing round me. Waiting for the ambulance to come I had this really weird out of body experience where I could see myself and the head of the daycare sitting at a picnic table with the playground behind us, her holding an extra shirt or a towel to the back of my head. Anyways I ended up getting seven staples. Worst medical emergency I got appendicitis 6 years ago (Jesus, was it that long?). That was the worst pain I've ever felt, like all your insides being ripped open. Actually I was feeling the pain but it went away and then six months later it came back worse then ever. Baths help the pain. Shortish story short appendicitis sucks. Don't get it.

When i was 5 or 6, i was playing with my power ranger on the tread mill, using it as the ground for my power ranger so i could have him run really fast and beat the shit out of the other power rangers at the same time, it was badass. Lol i used to have such an in depth story about a shady super ranger(like batman but did bad things and killed sometimes) and his evil brother and their battles against each other or alongside each other. Anyways i wasnt paying attention and accidentally let my pointer finger get stuck in the treadmill at the back end and a lot the skin on my finger got torn open and ripped off. I jammed the machine and it took about 15 minutes rip my finger out then causing even more damage, it felt like it was gonna break. I vividly remember getting into the car and pulling away the towel from my finger to peak at the mess, the towel was drenched in blood and it was troubling, i saw deep into my finger i think even a little bone was showing. Haha people wonder why i dont get grossed out by blood and gore in games and movies lol, thats why Then i went to the hospital and got 11 stitches and went back home in a day.

    • Third injury post. *WARNING: GORE AND UNPLEASANT IMAGES AHEAD; READ AT YOUR OWN RISK* I was about 9. Me and a bunch of friends are playing outside. I think we were playing tag. Some dumb-dumb picks up a piece of wood (about 20cm in length, 5cm wide), throws it in my general direction. I duck but not fast enough. The plank hits my head. I reach for where the plank hit me, and notice that my hand got wet. I look at my palm and its full of blood. Turn out, that plank had a nail in it. This was my little brush with death. When the ambulance arrived, they confirmed that the nail did not penetrate the skull and simply scratched it a little and cut the skin.

        • When I was in 5 grade gym class, I was peeing in a sit down toilet, it wasn't a stall because there were no walls for some reason. But anyways, this kid finishes washing his hands and comes over and slams the toilet seat right on my pee pee. It was black and blue for the next couple weeks... And no it isn't broken or deformed today.

          • In sixth grade I fell down concrete stairs and landed face flat on the ground. My face stung like hell and I had to get three stitches in my knee for a wound. Thankfully that was the worst injury I've sustained.
