Don't hate please, construct criticism, ya sure that's fine. Before you read on, it's sci-fi so if you don't like that don't bother reading this. Work in progress obviously. Probably a shit tonne of grammar mistakes too.
In a Universe where technology is key to survival, where for eons inter-galactic wars have raged, where alliances have been forged and shattered, an old threat returns. An entity which is capable of destruction on an unprecedented scale.
8 billion years ago, it swore to seek revenge on this universe, for it suffered a humiliating defeat. Its impending arrival to this realm will call for drastic measures. The sentient beings of old that repelled it all those years ago must once again call upon the 19 war machines that saved them. They must thrust aside all petty arguments and skirmishes in order to ensure their survival.
The Emacrodites are not fond of the idea of cooperation and with the horrific discovery of the fate of 17 of the machines, hope seems to be nothing more than a distant ideal.

Example of a cool blurb:
Chaos ruled throughout the universe in this time of the far future - or perhaps the unguessably distant past. The scientific laws of cause and effect held no power and men could not know one day to the next what to expect from their toil. Even hope seemed foolish. But there was one man entrusted with the task of bringing order and reason forth from Chaos. A black-clad traveller, who had many names but a single nature, and who carried with him a staff made of light. Wherever he went the forces of Chaos swirled around him, buffeted him and tested him. But he fought them, and little by little he drove them back.
