Do you guys think we we be able to reach the same levels as the weapons?
If so, that means we can at least reach level 200.
Anyway, what level do you guys think is the max?
I am personally going with 1000 just because its a nice round number really..
-
I think it will be set at a certain point, maybe 100, and then farther into the future they may increase it with DLC. Another question is will there be title for leveling up like Halo games have.
-
100 sounds nice and round. Yeah, I hope it's 100. I also hope it's not super easy yet not super difficult to achieve.
-
Well, I don't think that the weapon level is the same. If you notice, he's only level 7 but he is using weapon levels of 70 and the exotic machinegun is 200. This says to me that they are two different things. That being said, I imagine we'll hear about max level at Gamescon.
-
I think the max lvl should be lvl 77 at 77.7 percent.
-
I would love for it to be a thousand. Gotham city importers' max level was 1000 and the game gave you enough incentive to try to get to 1000 with 3 free dlc expansions(before the devs stopped supporting it anyway).
-
maybe it's a non-stop level up, so we can always have a goal to reach.
-
Just gonna say it, 50 got a feeling it will be 50

I'm actually hoping for a low max level (20-40) that you achieve relatively quickly. This would essentially make most of the game "end game content" and put the emphasis on acquiring and leveling items as the major way to develop your character. I think something that ruins many level based games for me is that you hit the max level so late that 99% of the content is under your level and far to easy to be rewarding to be around anymore. Take borderlands for example where probably close to 1/2 of all quests end up being under leveled and thus pointless to complete due to the rate at which you level up. If, for example, by the time we leave Earth we're at max level then that means all the remaining planets would be challenging and rewarding. This would be especially true if the only way to make your character better after Earth would be to find better equipment that augments your stats/abilities as you level it up.

With three games coming out over 10 years, 1000 levels doesn't seem very far stretched.
-
I honestly don't think there will be a max level. Bungie has been talking about having a character that you can keep with you throughout all of the future games, one that will grow and evolve with you. You can become something that is a legend eventually, a figure that people in the world could look up to. There couldn't be some kind of limit on how to progress.
-
I think it will be over 9000! ...someone had to say it.
-
I really hope it's either 80 or 120. I like those numbers.
-
Game haven't came out yet
-
Does it matter? Levels are arbitrary. You could have a game with 100 levels that make your character 1000 times stronger, or 200 levels that make your character 100 times stronger. What does it matter how many there are?
-
im thinking that the weapon levels and our lvl's aren't the same , cause in the demo he's level five , and the picture says it itself , "weapon" level 200 .
-
I personally think it will be 100, we have 5 types of enemies. And these levels would probably be the levels you fight them at. Fallen: 1-20 Cabal:1-40 etc.
-
77 (;

100 levels would be something I'd look forward too. But a weapon level of 200 doesnt necessarily mean that 200 is the max level like in wow, max level is 90 but weapon levels are in the 500s
-
9,001
-
perhaps your level wont be the culmination of the points you've earned, but rather a reflection of your skill in the game.
-
7777777.7777777
-
Somewhere between 50 and 100. So 77.
-
I would like it if there wasn't a max leve. Just have an incrementing level system. That way people just don't feel stuck.
-
Whatever the number is, I want it to be extremely hard to reach. I don't want to see people somehow boosting their ranks in a quick time just to "be the best". I want a very slow ranking system kind of like how halo reach handled it the higher rank you were.
-
I don't want their to be levels. I would rather see a massive stat tree that requires increased xp to unlock the next stat. But the tree would have to be so huge it would take Months of play to unlock all of it and achieving that is what makes you legendary.
