Halo 4 is fun, Mini slayer =awesome
To get myself back into Halo 4 I jumped into action sack and played Rocket + Rail and Fiesta while avoiding mini slayer thinking it was a smaller score game. (No fun in that)
One I got forced to play it I was plesently surprised at the sight of 6 inch Spartans running around with normal sized weaposn, I actually Laughed out loud at the sight of it.
Then I realised 343 got a bug, embraced the random event and made it into it's own gametype which is pretty dam fun to play.
How are people seriously hating this game? It's great fun.

I played mini slayer too on Haven...good mod playlist. Got it for [u][b]FREE[/b][/u] from a buddy.

I agree, I've also noticed more and more players showing up online. If they continue to cater to the community, that trend will continue. With the rerelease of the Pit, I'd say they're on to it.

13 RepliesHalo 4 is slowly starting to get better and better, of course bitter people will refuse to try and give it another try will hiss and claw at it like raging animals. My only remaining gripes with Halo 4 are the ranking system being boring (Halo 3's was fun, felt like progression even if it took a while) and the maps...god I despise Complex, it's like the only map people choose nowadays. I really wish 343i would hurry up and put up a Classic Playlist with only Halo 1, 2 and 3 maps, no sprint, no AAs, and no custom loadouts, also no ordnance just placements on the maps. I also REALLY want to play ALL of my DLC maps.

26 RepliesYou know what I hate about 343? They seem to think that they're amazing, go back on so many ideas, and get rid of things for no reason. Mini Slayer is not a bug that they have embraced, it's a mod made by a member of the Seven Sins modding community and posted online, people would play it in customs and loved it and it became popular among modders. However, not many people outside of modders had played it and so 343 thought they'd take that game mode and claim it as their own, no credit to the fan who made it. Instead they claimed, and I quote [i]"This mode has only been played by 343 staff and some lucky studio visitors"[/i] Funny, what game-type was I playing for the past 5 months with the EXACT same name and gameplay? God knows because apparently this is brand new! Jesus 343... Now fine, sure that's bad but how much worse can it get? OH I remember 343 stated that the race gametype would not be added to Halo 4 because it was unrealistic and did not fit into the spartan training program. YET MINI SLAYER DID? You're telling me that training how to be a great driver and avoiding obstacles is not good, realistic training yet somehow becoming tiny with huge weapons is? Jesus 343... Then we have forge where they managed to take out countless great, helpful tools that improved forge and allowed great precision, and instead were replaced with the terrible magnet system that never even works. Powerups were removed and many other forge items that we were used to in the Halo games. Campaign was lack luster, customs failed compared to Reach, and Spartan Ops was the same maps replayed and the story never made sense, you took over a certain place then the next episode you were back in the same place and it was taken over again, WTF happened between two missions that allowed us to lose these places? Firefight was removed, armour mainly sucked, and no theater mode for campaign. HERE'S THE BEST PART! They're making us pay extra money for armour that was in almost every Halo game because they decided to not put it in for some reason. 343 FAILS. HALO 4 FAILS.

8 RepliesI think they got the idea of mini slayer from another gametype. I played a game type that had mini spartans before in custom games. Also, Halo 4 is fun, but 343i took too long to fix the game so now the population is down.
