Name your guns?
In the first E3 Reveal video (pun intended) Joe Staten say to player 2 when she gets the sniper rifle "what are you gonna call it?" and in the "Building the E3 reveal" video they say about the Thunderlord that it is "one of the named exotic guns" in the game..
...are they trying to say that we will be able to name some of the guns?

From the looks of the preview and the weapon pages themselves it looks like the weapons are already going to be named for us. The only option areas seem to be the upgrade tree and two other highlightable areas on the screen that we cannot tell what they do. Having said that, there are [brackets] around the highlightable icon at the top of the screen and I have not seen anyone hover over this yet so I don't know what it does. That [i]might[/i] be a way to do it. The unnamed models have titles like ViperP3 and DukeMK.44... haven't seen screens of those...

I'm probably naming my guns after the Targetmasters from Transformers (G1), or the Zanpakutos from Bleach.... Or something original, who knows...

Not known, but from my understanding, there are so many different variants of each gun, that there are many different names and versions.
