MAN! i seriously can not believe bungie is being so greedy. they are making me pay soooo much money for these 3 maps, darn it, looks like i have to go take out a loan now.

wow. 1 Dude if u havent noticed the cost of living is going up thats probably one reson.2 they put time and effort in to the maps so they probably would like to be paid.3 Get used to it. Life isnt fair. And u guys compaining probably wont make them change thier minds. If u were in there position u would want as much money as possible and u can make 10 bucks in about an hour 2 if u just started working and u probably have 10 dollars now. U guys are just compianing cause u want attention

I think we need to get some compensation for buying a version that costs more. ie, people who bought legendary should get this and all other map packs for free, and the cost should go up from there for people who bought lesser versions, but not cost much a all, maybe like 2-3 dollars. The Halo 2 MP map pack cd costs $15 at my local Gamestop and that was 9 new maps. some of that money was probably going towards the creation of the CD, so now with DLC on XBL that cost can be eliminated, so there is only the cost of the new maps. now 15/9 is $1.67 so, 3 maps should cost at most $5.01 if sold on a CD, which they will not be, so overall it should cost less than that. yes the new maps will be fun (for some & suck for others, Its inevitable) but we could use an epic map or two. Ten dollars is a bit much for three maps. we could also use a patch ( I guess, most of the time I feel its fair but then about 10% of the time, crazzy - blaming blam - happens) and some covenant designed (or just random alien world) maps, and a few tweeks to MM (ie Team swat , Btb Object, Hardcore , 8 man Ffa , custom game search, and Forge playlist) and just because MS is split doesnt mean Gates is done with you,...... he is the anti-christ after all. Hey Bungie, i thought Forge was going to be more than just a editing station. Before the release of Halo 3 I saw your ViDoc for forge and saw that you guys were using it for battles, with one (oracle) on each team. I can't find 15 other players to play this with me. So i have a question, CAN FORGE BE PUT INTO A PLAYLIST AND USED FOR BATTLE? Big Team? Since i have all of the achievements, theres nothing else for me to do Online on Halo 3 but to get my rank up........PLEASE GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DO DAMN IT!!!!!!!!

You've gotta give em a break because they are under so much pressure from people like u. Is u want an amazing map then maybe u should make one. The man cannon and shield doors are gonna be awsome too.

Although these maps will be great and the man cannon and shield doors on Forge will also be nice, I am fairly dissapointed. Bungie has made well structured maps, but has failed at making any EPIC maps. Throw away all the nearly symetrical maps such as Construct and Midship, they have to be the most poorly designed maps Bungie has made. You can only assume that it would be social for obvious reasons, but we know what happens to you when you ASS-U-ME. So for everyone complaining about only getting 1-2 maps for matchmaking and one "Forge" only map, please stop posting and take the time to read the article again. Yes, I'll admit I do think that Xbox live and DLC are taking advantage of consumers in a booming trend referred to as "price gouging". More than half the games released for the Xbox 360 do not deserve their $59.99 tag price nor do they deserve an additional $5 - $25 increase for "exclusive", "downloadable", "special edition", etc. etc...... content; however sometimes and to some people it is worth it. I think everyone should respect everyone else's opinion on whether or not they choose to purchase the maps now or later, no more of this pointless bickering and biting at Bungie for just doing what it is they enjoy. Remember that you should be able to make yourself happy with what you create, just as much as they should. If they wanna make a couple of maps that are in their own respect "good maps" then they can. Why? Because they are the ones that took those jobs. Yes, fan and consumer based opinion is very essential to running a profitable organization! Yes, we could have used a smaller FFA, 1v1, arena style map and some more people would have been happy.... But who's to say that they are not going to?? There are still 3 maps that have been unseen that have been mentioned as DLC in the future (Moonbase Alpha, Purple Reign, and O.K. Corral) and whose to say that Frankie doesn't do another news article the 2nd week of December when the 3 new maps are available and start telling us about even more maps and content that they have created. Patience is a virtue that I will employ, I do think that 4 maps for $10 would have been reasonable to me. And that's my opinion, I'm entitled to it without having to slander somebody else's. So I will wait until spring and be content with what I have purchased until then. IMO Bungie takes pretty good care of their community, very few LARGE companies pay as much attention to their fans as much as they do. Yeah they're not perfect, and nobody is. Bottom line..... Don't buy the game if you can't afford it or don't think that it's worth the purchase, and if you can afford or you will find someway to make it happen because you feel it's worth it, then by all means enjoy =) Don't slander somebody's social status/opinion/values because they find more value in necessity over desire. BTW, I really think that a patch would be very helpful and much appreciated and obviously more maps (fan desired) wouldn't hurt either. But let's not forget about things like, new custom armor permutations, weapons/vehicles, and possibly even some sort of side quests for the Arbiter or something that could still easily be added to this game.
