Im just wondering how will they be played online as if a map is too be vetoed and not all the players have the map what will happen. Looks awesome, yeah its a bit expensive but who cares its for fun :D

I cant wait till it comes out. Its going to be so funn, cuz some of the maps on the regular halo 3 are kind of boring.

yea seriously guys can't you bungie guys just let everyone try the pelican on a map like sand trap. it would be a perfect troop transport for team slayer and mabe add some archerpods and a turret fo some support. Just one level PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!!!!!!

Epic Fail. Bungie played the good cop when Halo 2 downloadable content was announced and priced, blaming Microsoft for charging their fans, but after the massive success of all three Halo games and two PC cash-ins, Bungie (self-owned and now thus able to choose its own pricing, free or otherwise) shows its true colours by turning around and charging fans (still partly dividing the community into haves and have nots, despite their insistence to the contrary) for three maps for its underwhelming sequel. Hypocrites and sell-outs. Not only that, they look boring. Halo was a brilliant game, in part, because of its expansive, beautiful, and even epic natural environments. Where are the jungle multiplayer maps? How about an expansive and green mountainous terrain (not just the little mountain enclosure of Valhalla)? Indoor environments are largely boring, and Standoff looks about as stimulating as its dust-swept appearance. The only upside is if Bungie adds man-cannons, shield doors, stairs and bridges to the original maps Forge inventories, which I highly doubt it will, having seen how underdeveloped the Forge was and probably will always be. PATHETIC!

For all the money this game made I'm surprised they didn't at least make this first map pack free. Now I know it will be free in Spring I will wait.

Everyone wishes the maps were cheaper but once you guys play the maps you WILL realize it was worth the 800 microsoft points because of the numerous things you can do. You got to think how each map will play out for a game type and then modify it to make it more fun. For Standoff, I would play Infection, Shotty Snipers, and Multi Flag CTF but modify them to make it harder or easier to get around. Rat's Nest seems to be a good Infection map also by starting humans off by the Pelican and adding a crap load of weapons there and turrets. Foundry, however, would be great for any game type depending on how you MADE Foundry in Forge. I am a Forge addict, these maps will make Halo 3 more fun for me. Halo 3 revolves around Custom Games now, not matchmaking, skulls, achievements, campaign, etc., so think about the possibilities before you complain about the price.

Tis a sad, sad day. Gamers will always get the shaft because of the gotta have it mentality of the 80's and 90's. Ten bucks for 3 maps? Yeah, ok. Devs used to get payed alot less and would release new content or update gameplay for free, just in the name of fan service. These companies nowadays know nothing of fan service. I stopped playing your game last month Bungie, and it doesn't look like it's going back into my 360 anytime soon. Any time you split the fan base between those are willing to buy the new maps and those that won't spend the money, everyone loses. And after those crappy 2 maps for Halo 2, I don't trust you anymore. Ciao!!

So I have to spend 10 more dollars on only 3 maps. 3 maps that should've been in the game to begin with. Ok..WTF! I spent 140 bucks on the legendary edition. Now I have to spend 10 more to get 3 maps. You guys are stupid!!!!!! Pass it on to the real Bunige crew...! Splitting teams up in matchmaking. Getting bridged out of RANKED games. Horrible Ranking system! Still no Elite armor shoulders that i should've unlocked. I had to wait an extra year for this crap. No wonder everyone's playing CALL OF DUTY 4 now.
