I think I have figured out the whole Vanguard deal...

For those of you who don't know, people are going crazy to find out what a Vanguard is. With Bungie selling Vanguard t-shirts and other teasers of this mysterious figure. Some say it is a new class, like the hunter/ warlock/ titan. Other say it is a investigation organization, since when you to the Destiny website and click on Venus, it reads
Awaiting reports from the Vanguard
. But recently Bungie has released the new Space Mail Sack Magic and one of the "questions" was
People have been saying that the vanguard is a different class…
To which Bungie answered:
People say a lot, don’t they? The Internet is a big place, abundant with theory and speculation of every flavor. Safeguard yourself against spoilers and rumor, my friends. If you didn't hear it on the Bungie Blog, it ain’t nuthin’. We’ll tell you all about the Vanguards, and how you can become one of them. You’ll learn the truth right here. Someday.
So this means that everyone can become a Vanguard, which means it isn't an organization. And I don't think Bungie would make a new class while already having 3 announced, and saying that a fire team will consist of 3 guardians. I decided to research the word "Vanguard". According to Wikipedia
The vanguard would lead the line of march and would deploy first on the field of battle, either in front of the other wards or to the right if they stood in line.
So this leads me to believe that it is a title. One of the 3 pillars that make up Destiny is that
Everyone can be legend
Maybe this is what they were talking about. Maybe after you get a certain amount of loot, or cleared a certain amount of dungeons, or complete certain tasks, you become a Vanguard. An elite Guardian sort of deal. This is just a thought, a theory. Tell me what you guys think!
