Energy sword, fuel rod gun, brute shot, beam rifle, carbine, rocket launcher, BR, M6C, SMG The Covie weapons got expanded on in H2, but the divine 3 (plasma pistol, plasma rifle, and needler) that were in Halo have lost their luster and versatility. Particularly the plasma pistol has been ravaged. The rocket launcher's homing is really great, the BR is versatile, and the M6C is an actual sidearm, still retaining characteristics of CE pistol (clip size, rof). But the Shotgun is damn nerfed and I keep forgetting the sniper rifle exists (also, it no longer has a silenced effect).
