Favorite Trading Card Games?
Hey-O, folks.
What are some of your favorite TCGs (Trading Card Games)?
Growing up in the era where card games were a huge deal, I've had my fair share of experience with TCGs, and continue to play to this day.
-My favorite card game is Magic: The Gathering, because no matter where I am, I'll always find someone that plays it. (In addition to the tight gameplay mechanics as well. Age will do that to a game)
-I also really enjoyed Duel Masters before it died down in the US, so I never really got a chance to get into it, but since Kaijudo (A reboot of Duel Masters) came out, I've been really enjoying it, and can say that it takes 2nd place in my personal standings.
-The one game that I've really wanted to get into, but couldn't, was Battle Spirits. the game died right before it sparked my interest, so I didn't really have an easy way to buy product, and no one really played it. If the game was still alive in the States, though, it may very well have been my favorite TCG of all time. The "Core" mechanics is incredibly well done, and all of the cool X-Rares were a blast to see in action.
-I've played Yu-Gi-Oh! before, and have an old-school Dragon deck, but the game just isn't interesting to me, and I've never played the Pokemon TCG, so I can't really comment on that.

The only trading card game I've ever played and enjoyed was pirates. If for no other reason than that you could build little model ships out the pieces you punch out of the cards.

I used to play Magic with a few friends. I also collected Pokemon cards, but I don't think I've ever met anyone who actually knew how to play.

Yu-gi-oh before they started adding tons of stupid stuff and changed some of the rules. My friends recently got me into Magic, which is quite a bit of fun and a good way to kill time. I just need to get an Obzedat, Ghost Council for my Extort deck and then it'll be perfect.

Pokémon. Honestly, I had no idea how to play it. I just liked the pretty colors.

Used to love Yugioh. That was it.

Yugioh was my childhood. I never got into any of the other ones.
