With all these amazing guns and armor variants being shown off I can't help but wonder about the amazing ideas Bungie's cooking up in their imaginative stir pot of digital goodness. So I though I'd comment on the ideas that popped into my head, while watching their latest video how they're going about making destiny (link at bottom), on what directions bungie may be heading in terms of customization: 1. ARMOR ABILITIES: It sounds like armor will affect abilities in destiny. This made me wonder what sort of system would be used to instigate this. Will it be compartmentalized like Halos armors were? Or will it be something more... flexible than that? 2.WEAPON MOD'S: Weapon add ons could be quite advanced or very basic. Seeing as it looks like they're planning to add many weapons into the game. Because of this they many not be able to/may not be willing to add in a complex customization system. If they do though I personally believe it'll be like the customization from Medal of Honor: Warfighter where as you progress (or in Destiny's case, find) guns you can mix the technology around from similar gun to similar gun. 3. UNIQUENESS: Seeing as Bungie seems focused on bringing an idea of "self" into the game I wondered if they were going to bring a literal meaning to the 'Forge' by creating a feature or separate program that would allow you to edit or make your own armor or weapons. 4. SPACESHIPS & HANGER: By the looks of it we will each get our own little patch of pride and joy in the tower. This is where we'll be apparently be able to store ships (from the concept art it looked like three small ships or one small and one large). I wondered how customizable our spaces will be; will we be able to add trophies on the wall? Can I stick that awesome armor I got out of those abandoned ruins on display? Will I be able to get the side of the tower with more sun so I can get a jacuzzi going? Also Spaceships. What will we be able to do with them? Very little has been said about them so I can't really speculate other than they're most likely going to be personal. And I'll hazard a guess that they're expensive too. So there are my thoughts, Please share yours and what you would like the game to have and maybe some bungie employ on his coffee break may even stubble across some good ideas?
