Problem with my account settings....

I'm trying to unlink my Microsoft account and link a new one but whenever I click the Unlink option it takes me to this: https://www.bungie.net/en-us/User/AuthError/23 Anyone know how to fix it? -hoobla-

I'm a little confused......are you trying to change the email associated with your GT from Bungie.net? I didn't even know that was possible. I only know how to do this from the xbox.

      • These steps may prove helpful. They are for folks who are having linking/unlinking problems. 1) determine which login methods you currently have 2) determine which ones you wish to keep for your new profile 3) Create a "dummy" or disposable login method (preferrably of a type that you don't have linked to your current profile) 4) Link that "dummy" login method to the current account that you intend to walk away from. 5) Unlink the logins/accounts that you plan on keeping/using with your new profile. 6) Make sure that the account you are "walking away from" only has your new and disposable "dummy" account linked. 7) Use your new Bungie.Net account (with the proper linked methods that you want) and ignore the old Bungie.Net account & the disposable login that you created for this process.

      • This usually means that you are currently logged on your system with another WILD account other than the one your trying to unlink. My advice would be to start a private web session then try and unlink your account.

      • Changing the tag to #support so that our "white gloves" can give you a very good recommendation.
