I imagine it'll work similar to Halo, where there were specific scenarios where you'll be in third person; driving, assassinations, someone already mentioned the tower, but the core gameplay areas will be First Person only.

some of the things hes calling out are questionable. The 3rd person might have been scalling a character modle which most game developers will use a controller for. doesnt mean he was playing in 3rd person. second, I have no doubt that there will be derivable vehicles in destiny bu the one he is trying to point out has no actual good shot proof.

Don't mean to criticize the video, but I'm pretty sure they show 3rd person in the PS4 reveal anyways, and they even stated that it will be available in the Tower area and such. The Pike thing was cool though, that was something I didn't expect. Overall nice.
