LaTex Addition?

For anyone who doesn't know, LaTex is a program allowing for the addition of complex and orderly mathematical formulas. At this point, half of you are about to say "This isn't a math forum. GTFO." Hold that thought. While such mathematical and scientific formulas are seldom used on this website, and while there are great fora like Physics Forums, etc., there are a number of private groups, and even a few threads that flourish in the public fora, that are discussing mathematics or science, and for anything beyond simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, any formulas that are introduced just look hideous and convoluted. On to my point. Since this is still a time of site overhaul, I think it would be a cool extra feature if Bungie implemented LaTex-style formulas into their site. I won't pretend to know how hard that would be, but if it isn't super time-intensive, it would be some nice icing on the cake that is Bungie.next. Thoughts? Something you wouldn't mind seeing? Something that would make you want to gouge out your eyes?

  • Are you speaking about the behind the scenes calculations being made on forum metrics? And if so, what sort of potential outcome (or core data) would you consider to be an intriguing addition of such a calculating tool? Social interactions broken down into math are fascinating, but I find they are of interest when looking at the aggregate, but have unpredictable and some really terrible results when applied to specific one-time interactions of individuals.
