It's been a long time...
...but now I'm back and here to stay.
You may have noticed me posting around the site, and If you're interested in who I am then stay and read; otherwise, move along for there is nothing of interest here.
I felt that the rise of Destiny was as good a time as any to re-introduce myself to the B.net community. I never really left though, but lurked in the shadows just out of sight.
For those who would recognize me, my old B.net username was Spartan11117 2 (stupid I know, but I was stupid in 8th grade.) I used to be fairly active on the old forums especially in the groups Death by Mongoose and BUNGLE, and most of my time was spent in Halo 3 matchmaking making friends. But then my "real" friends convinced me that being active in an online community wasn't "cool," and so I stopped making friends on the internet cold turkey and became inactive on the site.
Ever since then I have never really been able to get back into the whole forum thing, but now with so many new people here and all the changes, I felt that it was time to try again. I hope to be an asset to the community, and I will definitely be posting a lot more while sharing my opinion about things.
So let's be friends and make waves on B.net together. Destiny Awaits.
TL;DR: I'm back with a new name, and I'm here to stay.

It feels good reading these comments and knowing that this community is one of the best there is, but it feels even better to be be a part if it again after so long. The Darkness is over and Destiny Awaits, so let's Be Brave and jump in headfirst with regrets because we know Bungie will be there to catch us, and they will never let us down.

I have been gone for quite a while as well. Used to go by DarkRu1er, I am still using that account though, just changed the displayed name. Even this account wasn't my first, ended up creating another account (for some reason that I don't remember), and that other account (after checking) says that it was from late 2006. Anyways, it is always good to see the "old" community coming back.

I, too, have just returned to the Bnet as per the announcement of Destiny. I felt it was time to become reacquainted with the community. I've been around since late 2010, and now I'm back, stupid forum name and all.
