So basically Bungie say that they don't really want to make Destiny a subscription game where you have to pay monthly in order to play online. However they did not mention if there would be micro payments within the game. Many f2p (free to play) games are free because they are able to make their money through micro payments where players buy extra content such as camos, armour and guns. Activision Blizzard has been part of many games including World Of Warcraft, this game involves these micro payments and could possibly allow them to introduce it into Destiny. Personally I would hate this as it would limit players who are unable to buy content and therefore would make it very stale as customisation might be limited. What does everyone else think, do you mind or would you want it without micro payments. Also do you think it will be in the game anyway?
