I just turned 17 last Saturday. As for the human weapons, I highly doubt it. THeres already Melee attacks, im supprised theres a plasma sword at all. I think they only included that so that now, ALL the weapons can be picked up in the game (even the FUel Rod Cannons, if they dont blow up before you get em) :)

obviously if i had thought you suck at halo.. which if you post on their forum, it would be hard to suck at it.... and how would i know if you're good or not...... OH geez here i go again! why can't we all just take a moment to sit and reflect on one of the best games ever.. --------------------------------------ok that's good let's talk some more halo :) i will have to agree with whoever said those nades were flashbangs.. i've watched the vid a couple millions of times (as we all have) and if you see the grunt in the front he's running around with his hands in the air.. maybe that's just his little "OMG ITS HIM" dance he does, but i think it's cause it confused or blinded him. hmmm what else to jabber aboots... oh yeah the vehicles!! yeah i have been seeing some great looking stuff in the concept gallery! i didn't notice the boats but i think that would be a real cool addition! as long as you can make sure to figure out the whole swimming and breathing underwater that comes along with the boats.. that could be a disaster *cough* GTA's attempt to make boats cool *cough*(i like to have options as to how i kill people ;) ) hey how old is everyone here? i'm just curious because you peeps use big words and i'm only 17 and it's hard sometimes... lol oh yeah and where you all from? i'm from Oregon (on the west coast *for all you 16 year olds* ) OH YEAH.. me and my pals have been talking about how well.. u know how the covenant have their energy sword stuff.. well does that mean their might be a new "human" hand held weapon available?? knife?? maybe?? khacks are cool and all, but if you could spill their guts.... i dunno maybe that's just me. yeah well i better get back to doing hw AKA looking for more halo nfo) wink wink.. Well, see I didnt notice the orange parts of a Hunter until I started playing it on Heroic. I like that, because whenever I play with someone who doesn't know, its hillarious. Hes firing hundreds of rounds with the AR at a charging Hunter, I jump out of the way of the second one, blam, and hes dead. Mean hwile my friend is almost dead, trying to meelee it head one. Good fun. I think they should have the same weakness, but its concealed better.

Yea hopefully they don't make it where you can kill a Hunter in one shot, that just took the fun out of killing them! They should be creatures that take countless bullets, many frags, and a few rockets to kill. And if anything the Bungie peeps shouldn't reveal a one shot kill on the Hunter in the start menu movie like they did in Halo 1. A one shot kill on a Hunter should be only possible when they are unaware of your presence. So hopefully they make the Hunter alot tougher, just like they are in the novels. I also hope they make this Niinja like Hunter...a Hunter so fast that once you see him....it's tooo late!!! haaha that'll be sweet! Laterz, PEACE!

Yea i remember when i gave programming a shot, a few months ago, i realized i didnt have the patience for it, yet i still want to learn. i remember now, i was learning on my own, my friend was teaching me, but then he abandoned me b/c hes a lonely little nerd. Anyways, i still want to learn thats why i signed up for a computer science class next year. Btw they changed the programming language at my school to Java. I was pissed i wanted C++, o well, better start somehwere than no where. Seeing as ur a programmer, i guess you learn to appreciate the good games more, and see the little details of the bad games. Like how a musician knows when someone is playing a song right while non musicians just listen without doubt

Its not that hard to start out, ive been programming for about three years now. The farther along you go, the more difficult I think it is to overcome greater challeneges. But whats really hard is transitioning from one language to another. I recentlyy did from C++ to Java(for my programming class) and its a freakin nightmare. BUt its definetly fun to programm things, and seeign the outcome of your project is very satisfying, unles, of course theres errors in it, but thats half the fun is fixing the errors, its like working on a car.

Well lets not gat any argurments in here, we're all Halo players that come together on a daily basis to disscuss issues and excitement, so I think it's safe to say that 99% of everyone who postes on these forums, are at the top of the hard-core Halo lovers list, and probably some of the best Halo players out there. I agree with you that we're all so excited about Halo2 that words cannot describe it. I definetly am, and I hope I retain this excitement for the next five or so months. I personally am countign on Halo 2 to be the most sold ever, it ahs to beat Super Mario Bros. (NES) with 40 Million units sold, but I think we can pull it off. As for this Killzone game, what the hell is it? I went to the website and all they had was this lame trailer teaser. If this is SOny's answer to Halo 2, I think they're screwed. XD

just becuz i dont like the target tracking doesnt mean i suck at halo. also just becuz i dont like the target tracking doesnt mean im dissing halo2 or bungie in any way.. im overly obsessed with halo and i still play campaign, but not nearly as much as multi. but thats why i think bots would be cool. someone mentioned bots being ruled out for good? where did you read that becuz if you check out the FAQ which was just updated they say they're undecided. back to target tracking... ok the concept is cool and im sure it would end up being very well balanced... becuz its bungie and theyre incredible geniuses... but if you've seen the video, you know the rocket followed the hog for quite a while, and at a good and sharp curve. the shot was taken from relatively perpendicular to the hogs course, and it looked to be about 100 feet away. that eliminates my skill to hit a hog with a straight rocket using timing only, and it allows everyone who sucks with rockets to get me out of my hog. so i've said my bit and u can argue with me about how im dissing bungie, but its merely my opinion. in the end i will love every bit of halo2. i dont think any of us can express how excited for it we are, but i know i can wait. i think it should be done right, which i know it will be. shado you need to stop assuming people suck and are coming up with excuses for it. maybe people in your town suck at halo. but i do agree bg and hang em should be included in halo2... theyre classics whether they've gotten old or not, i still enjoy both. and hell, why not? halo was what, 2.5 gigs? they could fit 3 or 4 times that on a dvd. plus it would just be kool to play elites vs spartans in hang em ctf... fun fun. about the impact grenades... your rocket is your impact nade =) plus it gets annoying to be scrolling thru more than 2 types of grenades. just like the beauty of carrying only 2 guns - its pure genius. and what's this about zanzibar not being included in the final game? how could they show us a map so awesome as that and then not include it? i highly doubt its gettin cut. and finally, frankie ur friggin awesome. thanks for all the teasing info

Yeah, hes one of those guys who pre-orders GTA and what not, then lies to himself about it being the best game out there. I wanted to just yell at him "YOU NEVER EVEN PLAYED IT YOU SONOFAB!TCH!" Man I own a PS2, and I have no respect for PS2 gamers, they're just so freakin arrogant, if i had to rid the world of Neo -blam!-s or PS2 -blam!-s, i'd have to ponder, hard.

Man, last Friday I was talkign to someone about Halo in my math class, he said "Dude, Halo 2 is gonna rock so much," and then all of a sudden some MEtal-head says "Seesh, Halo isnt that good, its first a first-person shooter. Me and the other guy froze for a few seconds. Then I turned around and said "I'm not even gonna start with you." Then went back to talking about Halo. Im getting tired of biast gamers dissing Halo, i'm tired of it guys, and when one of our own flesh and blood complains about Halo...its like a stab in the back. SO no complaining until after it comes out, then you'll see that theres nothing to complain about, and we'll laugh at you! (I wont remember, so i'll laugh at you now) Ahahahahaha!!!

Slap anyone who complains about Halo 2. It will be the best game to come out in 04. I dont like it when PS2 people diss Halo, that's like me dissin the Gran Turismo. Think of it that way any PS2 lover. Anyways, Frankie is awesome for putting out the weekly update. I'm not that good at typing alot, but he is really good at catching someones attention.
