Hello Flood, just wondering what interesting albums/ artists/ songs that you've come across that have really stuck out. The link I posted is the final song on an album called Rome- A Collaboration between Danger Mouse (of Gnarls Barkley fame) and Daniele Luppi.
While the whole album itself is astonishing. I think The World is one of the best tracks on the album. It features both Jack white & Norah Jones as main vocalists, two very charismatic artists within their own right, and the perfect pair to sing something in this album of such charismatic nature.
Those of you who've watched the third season of Breaking Bad may also be familiar with this music, as the song Black is featured within it.
So Flood, what have you got to share?

Like it as much as Cliffs of Dover, shame it'll get the third of the views that Cliffs will get...Oh, and trail of Tears.

Shonen Knife - When You Sleep Japanese band doing a cover of a 90s shoegaze classic and it sounds COMPLETELY different to the original version, which is incredible in itself.

Tom Odell's 'Another Love'. I don't often listen to much acoustic/folk music, but it's absolutely beautiful.
-
I usually stay away from hip hop, but I love this song. It's a story of self reflection and loss.
-
anything by U2, especially The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby albums.
-
Tame Impala's album Innerspeaker, The Growlers' song Sea Lion Goth Blues (although, the entire album Hot Tropics is brilliant) and every single John Frusciante song that ever existed. :-)
-
Yup. This song stands out.

Edited by tntbabin: 1/26/2013 4:22:17 AMSoulitude is a pretty awesome ballad from Overkill's Horrorscope album, my favorite song from the band and one of my favorite songs ever.
-
Failure, an all but completely forgotten grunge/post-grunge/space rock band from the 90s. Fantastic Planet is a fantastic album (hurrrr), its a bit long though but I'd highly recommend checking out the last 5 songs in it, The Nurse Who Loved Me, Another Space Song, Stuck on You, Heliotropic, and Daylight.
-
Really interesting progressive metal band I found a while ago.
-
Sounds like -blam!-ing cannons yo.
